Easy to install and works perfectly
We had no issues installing this shower head. We have an old house and an actual shower wasn't possible. This was a great alternative option.

Great customer service after installation issues.
Updated Review: the team at Proox reached out to me after my initial review. They were incredibly helpful in going over potential issues and resolutions after my first experience. I stand by my initial issues around the slip fit adapter causing a gap between the wall and the spout body when installing the slipfit adapter flush to your bath wall. For people using this spout, it's worth the money, but pick up a tub spout ring or plate to help with any gaps and prevent water damage. The spout itself is sturdy, has not leaked and the diverter works like a charm.Original review:"The internal plumbing mechanics of the spout when using the slip on connection are longer than the actual spout so you either need to recess into the wall or fill more than a half inch gap..."

Not bad at all, for the money
PROOX All Metal Diverter Tub Spout, 6 Settings Hand Held Shower with ON/OFF Pause Switch, Adjustable Slide Bar, Chrome.****************** Easy to install. Spout, Rail and adaptors are top quality. I'd warn people not to use the slip-fit adapter on a copper pipe as it will likely damage your pipe ... what I decided to do, after seeing the included hardware and seeing that my plumbing stub was 1/2 in. copper, is use the included solid brass "3/4 adapter" sweated onto the copper pipe--I started by marking the top of the adapter while it was fully tightened in the uninstalled tub spout. Removed the "3/4 adaptor from the tub spout. I then just slid it (the 3/4 adaptor) over the pipe (after removing the pre-existing NPT threaded connecter that was on my stub-out) till the larger HEX end was tight against the wall and the mark that I made was at the top (very important to do this accurately--though you could always reheat the fitting and rotate it as needed if the rotation is wrong.) Next, I sweated it directly to the cleaned and coated with flux 1/2 in copper pipe stub (be careful to not get any solder on the end of the brass "3/4 adapter;" if you do it must be carefully cleaned off or the adaptor may not seal fully on the spout.) I then, after cooling down the fitting, installed the tub spout tight on the threaded end as per the instructions. Prefect fit! ***SPECIAL NOTE: SOME HAVE COMPLAINED THAT NO MATTER WHAT THEY DO THE TUB SPOUT LEAKS ON THEIR EXISTING THREADED STUB-OUT---PLEASE NOTE THAT MOST PRE-EXISTING THREADED CONNECTORS ARE LIKLY "NPT" THREAD... THE TUB SPOUT THREAD IS NOT NPT--IT'S STRAIGHT/NOT TAPPERED. *** Looks great. only two issues... the hose on the handheld is kinda short...and the lock lever on the sliding handheld mount hits the wall as you adjust it (the stand-offs for the rail are not long enough.) Not Deal Breakers.

Slip on adapter can damage the copper pipe.
The product looks OK, the spout is a bit on the short side. It gives a number of installation options. The method with slip on adapter is outright dangerous and can cause severe damage to your plumbing. The pictures show the issue. The first picture shows a slipon adapter done the right way. A screw tightens a clamp which covers distributes the clamp pressure to about 45% of the circumference of the copper pipe. Little chance to cause any problems. The other shows the Proox slip on adapter with a dangerous small and sharp Allen screw. You want to tighten the Allen screw very well as the main spout is twisted onto it and it needs a firm seat.I had an experienced plumber do the installation and he almost pierced the copper pipe, which would requiring to open walls and expensive repairs. So, this was not a laymen not knowing what he is doing. The company needs to change the design of the slip adapter and eliminate this issue. This should not be sold as is it is a dangerous and faulty design. That is the reason for one star. If the slip adapter would be done right the product would probably be a 4 star, given some other small issues like missing gaskets, that can be fixed with standard parts. The company seems to know about the issue as they warn to "overtighten" the Allen screw. That is just bad quality and pushing the responsibility for a bad design to the installer.I hope the company recalls this product and replaces the slip-on adapter with one of a better design. That would make it a good product overall.

The faucet holder is substandard
Although the faucet and the shower head are attractive and sturdy, the facet holder is made of lightweight painted plastic. It does not match the faucet finish, and will not wear well. It is designed to be stuck onto tile with a flimsy piece of adhesive.

Antique farm house bath tub
We have an antique bathtub that we didn't want to replace. So we added this to it, so that you could also use it as a shower. It's real metal and has worked perfectly.

Easy install
Literally minutes to install, in fact it took more time opening the package. After making sure the washer was in place I did two full wraps of teflon tape on the existing 3/4" pipe and the spout screwed on tight, no problem. Attached the shower hose and all done.Only issue I would mention, and I think others have mentioned before, is the tub spout sprays instead of even flow. I suspect this is due to the diverter valve. Otherwise no problem.

I am pleased
It came with everything needed for installation, and works really well. I didn't realize that it had different spray modes, and has a switch on the handle that can stop the water flow. The wall mount holds the showerhead firmly. It is simple and functional. Good job.

Fit the need perfectly
Was pleasantly surprised. The kit had multiple options for fitting to existing outflow pipe. Polished chrome matched perfectly and doesn't look cheap.

Sticks out from wall when using poorly-made slip-on adapter
As other reviewers have noted (this is for the All Metal Tub Spout with Diverter for Hand Shower... Amazon groups together reviews for products that are not this one, in the same area), when using the slip-on adapter (unthreaded pipe coming out of the wall), the faucet will have a 1/4" or so gap between it and the shower wall. No "decorative spout ring" or whatever was included to fix this. Worse, the instructions show that the internal brass pipe should have a section that can be cut off to shorten it, likely to help resolve this issue, but it does not. Another reviewer posted a photo of that as well, compared to the instructions.I started the project a month outside of the return window, so I tried to find the PROOX support; apparently any support links for this product don't work ("ineligible for this support," Amazon states). Serves me right for trying to save some money on this. I also see others who have had to use the slip-on adapter have ruined their copper pipe as it's a poorly-designed adapter (a single tightening screw damages the copper pipe if you get it on tight enough to be effective). I think the only option now is for me to get a plumber to come in, shorten the existing pipe, and solder on a male 1/2" threaded "sweat" piece so I can screw on the faucet instead of rely on that adapter. But now reading the "critical" reviews I don't have much hope that the faucet will even last.
