*Update, contacted seller and he thought it was the power adapter. He rushed me a new adapter in time for Christmas. It works! Thank you!The Wii won’t turn on. Tried multiple outlets and nothing. Emailed seller yesterday to see if I can get it replaced before Christmas. Haven’t heard back. Will update when I do.Also, just a tip for those lucky enough to get a working console, if you have a smart TV, you will need a Wii to HDMI adapter. There are no AV inputs (red, yellow, white) on newer TV’s which is what the Wii has. Update, contacted seller and he thought it was the power adapter. First time purchasing an item through Amazon’s Refurbished program. It arrived packed well, in a HelloFresh box. Upon unboxing it was apparent that the item was not in “Like New” or even “Good” condition. It looked as if someone had pulled it out of their basement after sitting for 10 years. It was dirty, the remotes yellowing and scratched, one missing a lens. They were sticky and the buttons were crunchy. It did include a rechargeable battery pack and stand which was as advertised, and the only item “Like New”. I essentially had to refurbish the other items myself. There were carpet beetle larvae husks in the disk slot and the ports were covered in grime and dirt. The nunchucks were in “Moderate” condition, also seemingly untouched from storage.It turns on and for the first 6-10 hours of use has seemingly no issues internally. However, after the 3rd week of light use, it began having issues reading disks when first put in the console and has began crashing once booted up and in game.I know they source these products through different “refurbishment” companies so your order result may vary, but it was not a good experience and felt like an all around scam.

Everything works as expected! Kiddo has been playing for hours for two days now :)

Works perfectly and is just what I expected and wanted. It came quickly and was easy to set up, no issues.

First let me say the equipment came in excellent condition, although they did leave a wrist strap out, and had to tape one of the accessories flaps shut as it wouldn't stay shut on it's own. The Wii worked with no problem. I did have to contact the seller, they responding quickly, but claimed they couldn't find the ticket, not good. the controller's were not connected to the Wii, it seems that is on you for not taking the time to do it, at least put some paperwork in there telling people that, are better yet take the few seconds it took to connect the controller's to the Wii. It still bothers me that you can't FIND the order number, that means if I had an actual problem I would have got the run around. Not good. Therefore that is why just 4 stars. Very good looking Wii and accessories, just dropped the ball on a few simple things that could prevent having to contact a seller that it seems can't keep up with who bought what from them.

Bought the Nintendo Wii for my 6 year old birthday. He loves racing and sports, so we thought this would be a good introduction for him. He absolutely loves it - its funny because the graphics look so dated to the adults but the kids are blown away. We bought the game console, racing games and steering wheels. They're still learning to manage the buttons and the movements but after only a few sessions, you can see their improvements. We're happy and the boys are happy!

This is the third time I have bought this Wii from Amazon. first time, one of the remotes and the sensor did not work. one remote synced with the consol fine, the other wouldnt even turn on despite switching batteries, charging over night. the infrared sensor never turned on at all. The second time the package was missing the sensor entirely. The third time, both remotes synced fine, but the sensor again will not work. The consol turns on fine, asks to confirm the language and no button on the remotes do anything. No lights at all on the sensor. Amazon is no help, they just suggest I return it an buy another one. So frustrated.

Works perfectly. Wish it came with HDMI adaptor. What TV has AV cables these days? No one!
