As a dentist, I recommend this product be purchased before wisdom tooth extraction. This supplier takes so long to ship the item that it arrived well after the surgery. Either order this product weeks ahead of the surgery or get it somewhere else. It is not returnable, even though the envelope is unopened.

These are exactly what I've been looking for. My dentist recommended me to get socket gel on Amazon to promote healing in my gums after wisdom teeth removal. These not only took away some of the pain but also allowed me to open my jaw more. Thanks!

It does an ok job of helping with docket, but I wouldn’t say it is very effective in reducing inflammation or pain. Dentist office has another natural product with clove and other ingredients that is more like a paste. This is definitely a gel and does not setup in the socket
