Fingerprint Smart Door Lock - Keyless, Keypad Entry - Biometric, Easy Install

Brought this lock back over six months ago after researching to find one that would fit the (tight) dimensions of the existing door. This one fit perfectly. It was also easy to install and set up on our phones. Everything about the lock was actually more than we expected, and have been very pleased. But for no apparent reason, the lock stopped working and nothing seemed to fix it (replacing batteries; hitting the reset button, etc.). I contacted the seller (which I found the email contact info at the end of the online operating manual) and they quickly responded- requesting a picture of the invoice and a short video of the lock (I assume to assure that the lock had not been abused)- and then sent another lock immediately- with an extended warranty to go with it! So- all together- I would definitely recommend this lock and seller. The price is good; the functionality is great, and they stand by their product.

This is a really nice door handle and the price point was great for how nice it is. I love the French door handle and it looks really nice on the door. All you have to do is, stick your finger on the pad and it says "unlocked" as the door knob unlocks itself and it immediately locks itself behind you when you shut it. You have to download the app with it, to connect either, your thumbprint or your index fingerprint. It comes with two fobs and two sets of keys as well. You can even connect it with Google to unlock automatically just by voice. It's very simple to install and only takes two AA batteries, which are very easy to replace, although I haven't needed to replace them yet. The back comes easily off, on the inside of the door, them you put the new batteries in and replace the backing. Very simple. And another plus, no more locking yourself out of the house, as all you need is your fingerprint to allow you back in.

Update: After 4 months one of the 2 door handles are completely dead. I've changed batteries, using the usb-c connector and nothing. Dead in the water. Didn't even make it to the first snowfall. I was waiting a couple month to see how this door handle would work and I'm slightly disappointed. It was really easy to install but the Android App leaves something to desire. Once you get it up and working it works really really well...until it rains outside then it is about impossible to get your fingerprint to work, the keypad is super sensitive and errors out all the time, then it will time lock you out and the speaker gets filled with water so then you can't hear anything from the door handle. Then you have to hope the App is working to unlock it which is 30% of the time. Just feel like this door handle is not meant for the harsh North Dakota climate of rain...I wonder what it will be like in snow time. Overall the only real positive is that the handle is easy to install, App and Functionality of the Handle not so much a joy.

We love the lock, it has great features and several ways to open the door. We like that it has a finger print option so if our teenage sons forget their keys, they can still get in. Sometimes the finger print doesnt work, but then you can easily use the key pad and type in the code, and of course, the lock always works as a normal lock using a key. Installation was easy and directions were more than sufficient to get it installed. About 3 months after installing the lock, it completely stopped working. It wouldnt turn on. I changed the batteries, I hooked up a battery pack to it using the emergency charging port, I tried resetting it. It would not turn back on. The key still worked just fine to open the door. I contacted customer service the day before Thanksgiving and received a response almost immediately. I explained what the problem was, and everything I had done to try to fix it. They asked for pictures and a video as well as the original purchase order. I sent it all to them, and within an hour of me sending my request, they confirmed they were sending a new one that would be there in 3 days. It was indeed delivered within 3 days, no charge to me. So, although it was annoying that the item stopped working after such a short time, I believe the company really made it right, providing a new item so quickly and on a holiday weekend.

The lock looks like a good quality product when I unbox it is really surprised me and I like how this works. Installation was easy, the holes and the latch of my door exactly matched this lock. The app and the internal software works very smoothly and quickly. Everything was set up under 5 minutes. There are 4 types methods for access my home, fingerprint ,keycard, digital key lock with Keypad and app control. The cool thing and the convenient thing is that I can set up multiple fingerprint easy for all family members. The fingerprint recognition is not only quick but also accurate.Would definitely recommend.

I bought this smart lock to replace a plain passcode-only lock. This new smart lock is functionally capable of many different ways of access control (i.e., smart phone, fingerprint, passcode, key card, and keys), not to mention the WiFi and Google/Amazon voice controls which I haven't even tried yet. It's good to set up multiple access options in case one method does not work out in certain scenarios. For example, if wet fingers prevent accurate reading of the fingerprint, you could enter the passcode to unlock the door. The app even keeps a helpful log of who operated on the lock, when, and how. I also like the dark black and elegant appearance which goes well with my red door (see picture). Overall, the hardware looks solid and well made, and both the lock and mobile app are easy to install and use. Everything is quite straightforward!!
