My dog is nuts. She gets nervous outside the house and while she loves to "run like the wind" she's notorious for tearing off the arm of whomever is running her. This harness is not only sturdy and well made, but it also seems to make her feel secure. She pulls less and walks/runs better (with relation to her human, lol). The fit is a touch on the small side as I consider her a medium sized dog (and the large harness fits her quite snugly). My only complaint (which isn't really a complaint as I wasn't really aware that this feature was included) is the retractable built in leash. It doesn't seem all that strong so I'll likely still use her normal leash on the regular, just attached to this harness.

This services exactly as I needed it to. This isn’t for your every day dog walks, or a trip to the puppy park. This is not for professional service animals (I think there are better options for you) or untrained dogs. If your dog is not properly leash trained, this product is not for you. This is an extreme ease of convenience product for a niche group of people who need it. For example: my dog comes with me to work everyday. He does not need to be leashed except for in emergency situations, so by wearing this harness I can grab the handle on the back or the leash and have him quickly lead away. But after he’s lead away, I don’t need him on leash anymore as he can free roam again. With this product, I don’t have to keep his lead on me 24/7 or have it hanging off his collar where he could wrap it around something and get stuck as it’s dragging behind him. With that being said, retractable leashes are not for everyone. The handler and the dog need to be trained and educated. I would recommend this product to people in similar situations as me, where their dog comes to work with them every day. My only complaint about it is that it doesn’t like to retract the last inch of the lead. Seems like the mechanism inside thinks it’s done rolling it up so you have to jiggle it a little before it sucks it all back up. This really isn’t an issue, as once inch sticking out doesn’t have it hang over my dog or get in the way at all but I could see this being a slight issue if you have this on a way smaller dog where maybe it would be dangling over the body and dragging the ground. Keep in mind this is NOT the same brand that you see on TikTok, I’m not sure who created it first but this one is a few dollars cheaper, looks the exact same, is decent / acceptable quality and is easy a 4-4.5/5 star product.

I bought this harness a few months back.I ordered it without measuring so I am so happy that the size I selected fit her to a T. it's so simple to just put it on her neck and snap the size and there's adjustment though I don't expect her to get any larger or fatter. I like the length of the retractable leash and let them go just far enough that you can take two steps and it'll be right there I like the extra hold handle that is across the neck so if you need to hold her in place you can. I love the color orange my favorite. and as you can see she's sitting and I am standing away from her with the length of the leash it goes a good I would say probably 3 ft. but it's so cool cuz you don't have to have an extra leash to snap to her that you know falls down and she's stepping on it and you got to go lift the legs to get it from underneath her this is the perfect harness that you would just love.😊 I know I do.

Great idea to have but the leash part is way too short and needs more length. Otherwise it’s a great idea.

This product broke after several months of use. The leash is not very strong, and the mechanism snapped when my dog pulled.

So far this has been a great set up! Fits my young lab great and the retractable leash works great! Now I don't have to worry about carrying a leash with me. When we go for walks I just put my lab in the harness and away we go. If we encounter other people or dogs I just pull the leash out of the harness and we are all set!

I was so excited when I ordered this product and when it arrived. The idea of the product is genius. I just had to put the one harness on my dog instead of having a harness and a separate leash that often gets tangled with something. I absolutely loved that I didn't have to carry a separate leash in my hand whenever I let go of my dog. I could just let go of the retractable leash if I needed my hand for something else and not have a leash dragging on the floor. Or if I wanted to let my dog run off leash, and I could easily grab the leash whenever another person or dog was passing by. BUT— It's advertised to have an auto-lock "explosion-proof collision function can automatically lock the dog leash when your dog suddenly accelerates and rushes forward." However, I didn't see this function be activated at all. Whenever my dog suddenly pulled, fast or slow, the retractable leash continued pulling to the max. and it never auto-locked at all. Also, I was extremely disappointed when the retractable leash completely broke off the harness within 2 weeks of using it. We were doing a regular walk when a squirrel ran in front of us and my dog suddenly tried to run towards it. The retractable leash came out fully in a blink of an eye and that was it for the life of this product. I fully intended to contact customer support to try to exchange the product before the return window closed, but I had put the broken harness in the closet when we came back from that walk and then completely forgot about it as I just went back to using the previous harness and leash I had. Unfortunately, I found the harness again now but the return window had already closed. This is my first review on Amazon ever, and it's based on the extremely short durability of the product. The retractable leash is not strong at all and you can't fix it if the leash comes out of the harness.
