Flimsy but effective, good adhesive. Hours of relief
I have been using these for months, I get the brand Lidoderm patches from my doctor, however even with insurance they are terribly expensive so I only get one box per month. I use these to supplement the brand patches, you can use 3 at a time as long as it’s 12 hours on - 12 hours off & you experience no skin irritation. The Amazon patch is surprisingly effective for the price point, as with all the generic lidocaine patches they’re 4 % instead of 5% lidocaine but I still get quite a bit of relief. It’s much thinner and flimsier than the brand and flops all over when you try to apply it. The saving grace is that the liner is split down the middle to help prevent it folding in half and sticking to itself. It still happens but it’s usually manageable. It will hurt, and possibly bruise, if you try to yank it off too soon because the adhesive is strong. If you need to remove it early just get it wet, it will make a slimy mess but will eventually slide off. I have included these in my arsenal of non narcotic pain relief, don’t want to go back to that if at all possible. They can be cut to size, and give some basic numbing relief for hours. To apply it in the easiest way possible, give a gentle tug to either side while holding in both hands, the liner will split and make it much easier to apply. Definitely worth a try for muscle and/or joint pain. Don’t do well with sweat, so skip wearing while doing anything strenuous that will cause you to sweat profusely. Otherwise I highly recommend!

I’m in my 80s and my right knee hurts
These patches work to cut the pain in my knee. I know all the ads say they’re for your back, but it works on my knee. However, the only problem is that at the end of the day they don’t keep sticking on and they fall off.

They work ok, but don’t stick very well.
These are not prescription strength Lidocaine patches, but I can tell they are helping my shoulder pain from a torn rotator cuff. They are soft and fuzzy, and easy to apply. The only thing is, depending on where you put it, it is probably going to come off before 12 hours. Mine kept getting stuck to my scrub tops at work (I’m a nurse) and rolled itself up until it was only touching my skin in a very small area. I suggest cleaning your skin well with alcohol, letting it dry completely, then putting some strong medical tape along the edges to hold it down.

A very effective pain patch
I have ordered the pain relief patches multiple times. I really like the Amazon basic care pain relief patches. The size is really good for shoulder or lower back. It's so easy to put on and it sticks really well. It seems like it works within about an hour or so. Very comfortable and the pain relief is felt for a long period of time. I know it says that it works up to 12 hours but it seems like I have felt it working for longer than that.

Keep these on hand!
I have a spot on my back that is easily triggered by sitting uncomfortably. I can end up in a lot of pain on long car or plane rides. I've used various lidocaine creams in the past but they never seem to really work. I bought these for an international trip that first had a 4-hour car ride, then an 11-hour flight, followed by a 6-hour train ride. These patches were a lifesaver! I would have been miserable without them and plan to always have some on hand, not just for traveling. Only complaint is that they are a little messy to apply, especially when you're trying to put one on your own back. They stay on pretty well if they are somewhere that is somewhat protected and not rubbing. The level of pain relief far exceeded my expectations. They take about 45 minutes to really start working but keep working for several hours until they start to wear off. I don't think they work for a full 12 hours as stated, more like 6 hours to where it's noticeable but it probably depends on the level of pain, location, and type of injury.

Good pain relief, not so good adhesive
I have received no remuneration of any kind from the seller, or associates. No coupons, or promises of a refund, no free product for a review, or any other type or kind. I have no connection with the company whatsoever except as a purchaser. I am not connected by friendship, marriage or business with the seller or their associates. I paid for this product with my own money and I am giving my honest opinion about the product and the retailer. Let me say, first of all, that generally speaking I am usually very satisfied with Amazon Brand products. This is the first time I have been even slightly disappointed with the quality of any of the Amazon Brand products I have purchased. I have purchased 2 different brands of 4% lidocaine patches this week. Amazon Basic Care Maximum Strength Lidocaine Patches come in behind the other brand. I need to use 2 patches on my knee shin area. I have a leg injury and about half my pain is nerve pain. The patches do work very well to relieve pain. But they won't stay stuck, and it is an aggravation to have to keep plastering them back down. The Amazon patches ARE effective pain relievers, and the pain relief does last a good long while. But! The adhesive leaves a lot to be desired. The other brand stayed stuck until I took it off. The adhesive on the Amazon brand starts coming unstuck at the sides and corners. I have to keep plastering it back down. It's a definite aggravation. The adhesive gel is not as thick, and not as sticky, as the other brand. Having said that, the Amazon brand has better pricing, you get more patches for your money, and they are effective pain relief. Just be aware that these patches tend to start peeling off long before 8 hours, much less the up to 12 hours claimed on the box. They would be better suited for someone that isn't going to be moving around a lot. If that is an aggravation for you. Try another brand.

Very good product at a great price point
These work well. They are the same strength as the CVS brand and seem to adhere better. They are also priced much more economically.

They really work. 4% Lidocaine
I have lots of back pain and these lidocaine patches help with my lower back pain. I would use one everyday if I was still working. Easy to apply, just have to learn to put them on your back without being able to see what you are doing.
