Does not connect to alexa app no matter how I try doing it. Reset pairing mode, only kept 2.4GHz band available. The app is trash, it has no way to manually try pairing the light bulb. Amazon doesn't list their own bulb in the list of lights it can manually pair with. Absolute trash. What's worse is that Amazon decided to mix in on this nonsense by never delivering the replacement order. No return option either. The replacement/refund status is just stuck on "initiated". It's been 5 days. Amazon customer care is non-existent. Absolute TRASH service. I really want to stop using Amazon altogether. This is TRASH!

I recently started using the Amazon Basics 12W Smart LED Bulb, and overall, I’m quite impressed with its performance and ease of use. What I Liked: Smart Integration: The bulb connects seamlessly with Alexa and Google Assistant, making it very easy to control through voice commands or the app. Setting schedules and adjusting brightness is super convenient. Bright and Energy-Efficient: The 12W LED gives off great brightness, perfect for any room. It’s energy-efficient, so I don’t have to worry about high power consumption. Easy Setup: The setup process was simple, and connecting it to Wi-Fi was straightforward. Customizable Lighting: The ability to adjust the color temperature (warm to cool) is a nice touch, allowing me to set the right mood for different times of day.

This is a great bulb when it works. However, when it doesn’t which is quite often (like 50% of the time) it’s really annoying. I synced it with my Google home and half the time Google home says that the bulb isn’t connected to wifi even though I can control it from its native app. This is really annoying because I use Google home to control the bulb with voice commands. A lot of times the bulb truly does go offline/disconnects from wifi and cannot be controlled using its native app either. All my other “smart” devices use in the same room connect to my wifi without issues except for this bulb.

This bulb has been a good addition to our household since through the Smart Life app it allows for a multitude of colour options & several settings like switch-off countdown, sleep, wake-up and a whole lot more that we don't even use or expect to in the near future. My only grouse with this item is the brightness or intensity. At 12W and 100% brightness (which is controlable through the aforementioned app) it is still of a lower radiance than a 10W bulb - which was in place before this one went up. I don't know if this is a defect (I assume it isn't) or just the factory setting (which I think it is) but it is a bit disquieting.
