There is no scent, which isn't a problem as my dog isn't going out on the pull, and it left her fur feeling soft and clean. Interestingly, unlike every other shampoo we've ever used on her, her doggy odour doesn't return as quickly. She smells fresh and non-offensive for days after using this and so does her bedding so we are saving money on repeat washes during winter-time when she is getting a little damp going outside to exercise or toilet and also saving money on washing her bedding 2-3 times a week to keep our home from smelling like wet dog. She has had no adverse reactions to the shampoo, whether it will help stave off her seasonal allergies (grass and something plant-based in our garden which affects her during spring/summertime that we haven't been able to narrow down yet) is yet to be seen. I am hopeful. I am also using the allergy spray from the same manufacturer on her paws and that has done a fantastic job of keeping the soreness between her pads to a minimum and reducing her chewing and licking at them. It's also made her pads lovely and soft instead of rough.
