Two great remolds of good engineering
The Siege/Earthrise Megatron has gotten a lot of recolors snd remolds and even Kingdom Scourge is on it's fourth outing here, but I have to say I think these are the best versions of either one. All the joints are firm (unlike the Alpha Trion version of Scourge in particular, who could barely hold a pose) without being worryingly tight, the dark colors look great with a few dashes of brighter highlights to break them up, and even the silly multi-part "Evoi Fusion" weapon gimmick works well for once, as you can give Megatron his mining drill and pick or bodge them together into a giant crossbow launcher thing of doom to rebel against the repression of the Senate and/or Functionist Council.

Love this set
I was apprehensive when I saw it was frequently returned but my order came with bots accounted for. The edge of the package was dinged but I’m not a collector so it didn’t matter to me.

Solid IDW-inspired figures, tho Megatron may need a knee fix
(For those who don't know, due to an error, Amazon listed for preorder the two Transformers figure-packs based on IDW comic designs backwards and shipped them as such, so listings for one set delivered the opposite (order Orion Pax/Shockwave set, get Megatron/Ratbat set; and vice-versa), eventually Amazon changed the pictures and text of each listing. I got the wrong set from what I was expecting and after asking Amazon took care of my issue, but at launch there's a lot of frustrating confusion that should get evened out over time.)Both figures in this set are remolds of recent voyager-class Generations figures. Miner Megatron is based on the 4-year-old War For Cybertron: Siege Megatron, while Senator Ratbat is based 2-year-old Studio Series 86 Scourge. As both of those were already Cybertronian vehicles, it was straightforward to make them represent the IDW versions of the characters. One manufacturing issue on Megatron: the knee hinges on many samples including mine are assembled on the wrong legs so the legs can't fully straighten and the joint is very loose. This is a pretty easy fix, but does require knocking out a short pin from the back of the leg.Miner Megatron is pretty close to the version in IDW's Chaos Theory, except with a wider chest leaving a bigger blank spot where his Decepticon sigil will someday go. The new head, torso, and upper arms look pretty nice, the clean gunmetal plastic is sharp, as are the silver and red accents, the yellow-and-black caution markings seal the deal. Articulation is good but not great for a voyager-class. This mold was always clunky between design issues and nylon parts not behaving properly, this figure is no different. The accessories are a good fit for a "miner-gladiator".Megatron's vehicle mode is the same as every other release except with a stubby drill where the cannon used to go, and the axe head ends up abandoned on the side as a useless extra bit that gets in the way of the turret. It rolls fine, but is a lousy tank with too little bulk in the middle, even turning the turret bumps into the robot shins.Senator Ratbat isn't the most exciting character, but it's a solid figure overall and looks the part with new head, upper arms, torso halves, and chest. The upper body looks good with paint and sculpt, the lower body gets pretty plain but I haven't had any paint chipping issues on my sample. Ratbat inherits Scourge's back kibble and hollow thighs, but avoids the wrist tightness issue. Articulation is pretty good, the thigh rotation is weird, the ankles and waist are a little restricted, but otherwise he can move well.Ratbat's space boat vehicle mode is the same as Scourge's except with new covers around his head, and the front cover doesn't do the best job hiding his face. The figure comes with the same rifle and it just pegs onto the side.I'd say between "Humble Origins" and "Rise of Tyranny" the latter is the better set, Miner Megatron is more true to his comic self and has decent accessories but may need a fix on the knees, while Ratbat aims a little low but sticks the landing.

Fine, but loose/too tight connections
Both vehicle forms either would not click together, or they did not stay clicked together.
