We love the concept of this insect vac. But the battery sytem has 2 connections. The battery compartment is difficult. The charge lasted about 15 minutes of use. Then it would not recharge. The kids loved it while it was working.

The concept is fantastic and I love that it comes with the matching bug box… but it uses a rechargeable battery to power the vacuum and ours arrived not working. Of course, since battery is not working … the vacuum doesn’t work. Still waiting to hear from customer service of the solution.

Bought for my sons birthday. Not even a week later the vacuum broke. The container is nice tho!

I bought this for my grandson. The concept is cool but this is a replacement for the first one and it stops working very shortly after arrival. I like that it was supposed to be rechargeable but it just stopped working. Would not recommend.

Only reason I didn't return was my kid liked the habitat. The gun has almost no suction. Couldn't pickup any bug with it. For the price, the gun should work.

So I bought one of these bug catcher for my son bday because he loves catching bugs. The first one that I bought the battery never changed up. I have it on the charger for 24hr and still didn't work. So I send it back. Two days I received the new one that got send to me. When I opened the box there were pieces missing. I was missing both of the nozzle and the dome was cracked on the bottom. Now I have to resend this back to Amazon and hopefully I get one that's not missing parts or have broken parts.
