Spigen Privacy Filter Screen Protector [SafeView] designed for MacBook Pro 14 inch (M5 / M5 Pro / M5 Max / M4 series / M3 series / M2 series / M1 series)

Easy installation on my MBP 14". Works well and the privacy factor is great. One thing I noticed is that looking directly at the screen doesn't at all impede the vision. Other privacy screens I saw seemed to mess with the view, not so with the Spigen.

No adhesive means no bubbles. It is very clear, perhaps a tiny bit of a tiny, but that's normal for privacy screens. It's so easy to put on and it stays on unless you actually try to move it.

It’s a fantastic screen protector, it has great anti reflective coating and it’s super easy to install. The only issue I see, and honestly it’s more cosmetic than anything. It’s that now my MacBook doesn’t close all the way, there’s a slight gap were I believe the magnets are. It’s a super small gap and barely noticeable but, if you’re like me and like to keep your tech clean this is no bueno. Other than that it’s fantastic and I’m super satisfied with my purchase! Spigen makes great, high quality products. This screen privacy filter is one of them. It fits perfectly on my MacBook Pro and there are absolutely no issues in closing the screen or setting the system to sleep. Everything works great. I will surely recommend this product.

Product works to give you a privacy screen, but the magnets are causing issues with actual laptop. This is making my MacBook reboot every single time I close the screen. Even went to the Apple Store and received a replacement and put the screen back on. And would you guess, this is happening once again. This is an unusable product.

The SafeView privacy is lacking! The protector works well if that is what you expect. It is very easy to apply, it fits exceptionally well and claims to be able to be cleaned and reused. The magnets snap the screen protector into place with a few minor adjustments upon installation. It offers very little privacy if that's what you want. It slightly tints the display from side-to-side for on-lookers, but everyone can still see what you're looking at with no "privacy". I have handed my MacBook to a friend next to me on an airplane with the privacy screen protector applied, and I could still see the screen perfectly. I'll try the screen protector in the coming months, but the privacy (SafeView) attribute leaves much disappointment and more to be expected if needing true privacy!

The Spigen SafeView privacy screen fits my MacBook Air 13" (M4 2025 / M3 2024) perfectly. It snaps on securely and doesn’t interfere with closing the lid or using the laptop normally. The privacy effect works really well, which means I can work on the train without worrying about anyone looking over. The clarity when viewing straight‑on is good, and the build quality is exactly what I expect from Spigen. A reliable, well‑made privacy filter that does its job properly.

Llevaba tiempo buscando un filtro de privacidad que fuera realmente efectivo y que no arruinara la experiencia de uso de mi MacBook Air, y este cumple con todo eso y más. Lo compré principalmente porque trabajo desde cafeterías y espacios compartidos con frecuencia, y la verdad es que nunca me había sentido del todo cómodo sabiendo que cualquiera podía ver lo que tenía en pantalla. La instalación es muy sencilla. Viene con un sistema de fijación magnética que se adhiere al marco del MacBook sin dejar marcas ni residuos, y se puede poner y quitar en segundos sin ningún problema. No hace falta alinear nada con precisión milimétrica ni preocuparse por burbujas como con otros protectores adhesivos. Un punto a favor enorme. En cuanto a la privacidad en sí, funciona exactamente como promete. Desde un ángulo frontal la imagen se ve con total claridad, pero en cuanto alguien intenta mirar desde un lateral la pantalla se oscurece completamente. He hecho la prueba varias veces y el efecto es muy efectivo, incluso en ángulos no tan extremos. La calidad de imagen desde el frente es buena. Hay una ligera reducción en el brillo, como es normal en cualquier filtro de este tipo, pero nada que no se compense subiendo un par de niveles la luminosidad. Los colores se mantienen fieles y no hay distorsión apreciable. Dicho esto, si trabajas mucho con edición de color o diseño gráfico es algo a tener en cuenta. El acabado mate es otro punto positivo inesperado: reduce considerablemente los reflejos, lo que hace que trabajar cerca de ventanas o bajo luz artificial sea mucho más cómodo. En ese sentido casi funciona mejor que sin el filtro. En resumen, es un accesorio bien pensado, de buena calidad y que cumple exactamente lo que promete. Para quien trabaja en espacios públicos o simplemente valora su privacidad, es una compra que merece la pena sin dudarlo.
