The Promise of His Appearing: An Exposition of Second Peter

As usual, Leithart provides thorough commentary with a faithful partial-preterist view.

Leithart mixes a little fun with the serious task of exposition. Argues the preterist position with force. I was, however, very disappointed with the kindle edition. Full of mistakes (almost every paragraph contains some wierd spelling, or splitting of words in half, or joining words together). The content helped me to stay with it, but it was a frustrating task trying decipher what was being said among all those errors.

Very convincing explanation of the preterist position and also a helpful exegesis of the book of 2 Peter. There were many errors that made reading the kindle edition like translating a different language.

The kindle edition has tones of type-o's. Able to make sense of most but there are a few every chapter that really confuse. Leithart's book itself is amazing!

The content is good, but there's a lot of typos all over the place.
