As a mum who watches a teenage son both pulverise and be pulverised in Muay Thai, this helmet is a welcome addition to my protective mum kit. Great value for money, I'm told it's very comfortable to wear and does the job well (no bleeding face or lost teeth...so far) and is nice and light.

I haven’t tested this much yet but it is very comfortable head gear, it’s also nice soft material and feels like it absorbs a lot of shock. Nice looking and appears to be good quality.

Does the job, sweating way too much and too fast in it. Only downside its really hard to see with it. I prefer without, only use it in hard sparring.

This is a crucial bit of kit for sports that involve wearing protective head gear and it performs well during sparring. It's 360 degree padding offers protection from every angle. It looks and feels like a professional bit of kit, because it is. It's made from thick, impact resisting sponge encapsulated by polycarbonate. The velcro fastening is wide and stitched in place securely and when correctly fitted on your head it feels soft and silky smooth. It's lightweight design means that, even though you'll always notice that you're wearing it, apart from moderately obstructing your vision you don't pay much attention to it when you're in the thick of sparring. It hasn't rotated weirdly when it's getting used/hit, rather it remains in my preferred position. One useful feature is the headband you're provided with. It can absorb sweat and can then be washed; it also forms a tight barrier between your skin and the interior of the head gear which actually improves the fit of the headguard and stops it from wiggling about annoyingly. At £24.99 when I received this item I'd suggest that it is priced fairly and in the correct price range. It's one of those items that is designed to be used and battered, it is the nature of things, but it's so well stitched it should last for some time.
