Unsung hero of beautiful philosophy
Dio Chrysostom lived part of his life as a Cynic. And as a Cynic, he was unique in that he produced long-form, gorgeous, and semi-systematic explanations of Cynic philosophy. It's a pleasure to spend time reading his thoughts and seeing what Cynicism was like hundreds of years after its founding by Antisthenes.
