Michael Kors Hamilton Hamilton Saffiano Leather E/w Satchel

It's so hard to find Michael Kors bags with silver hardware instead of gold. I watched this bag and had it on my wish list for quite a while before I "pulled the trigger" and bought it. It is a beautiful dark purple bag and the silver hardware is chunky, heavy and gorgeous. I get tons of compliments on it. I think the size is adequate, but wish it was just a teeny bit wider. There is a flap on the inside that sort of gets in the way when trying to put items in or take items out of the bag, but it's not so annoying that I won't use the bag. It seems to be constructed quite well and the saffiano leather resists stains and scuffs. To me, it's a fall/winter bag so I will get a lot of use from it in the cooler months.

It's exactly what I was looking for - structured bag, stylish, and the right size - not too big, not so small that I can't close it!

I received this handbag as a gift and without a receipt. I love the feel of the leather and the design is very nice. After two months of minimal use the hardware/lock fell off the bag and was lost. I brought the bag to a local Michael Kors store and was told that, in absence of a receipt, they could only send out the bag for repair and I would have to pay for repairs. One month later I was called and told the cost and I agreed to the amount. Two months later I received another call telling me that they couldn't find hardware for the bag and they were returning the bag to me without fixing it. This bag is too expensive to fall apart so quickly and the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I would not buy a Kors bag again.

Kind of color deeper than expected, but overall is good.I love it so much~It is a nice bag~Will be come next time.
