Well,.....
Oh I don't know, is it my seventh pair or my eighth? Ninth? I really have no idea. I've lived in my Reef Gingers all Spring, Summer, Fall, and indoors year round for several years now. Nothing better, cute and COMFORTABLE. I just want these to be available for the rest of my life. That said, There is something different about this last pair, I wear shoe size 8 1/2. I've been accustomed to getting reefs in size 8 as they don't come in 1/2 sizes. They are always a bit small for the first day or two, then flatten out and form to your feet and are perfect. THIS time the size 8's is larger. I'm concerned that they'll flatten out and they won't be as dainty looking as I'm accustomed too. I do have big feet for my size, so I don't need that. There are also some other slight little details that are different. Does anyone know if the sizing has changed?Update!! I returned the size 8 for a size 7. I guess that's my size in Reef flip flops for now. They're as good as they ever were after all. All's well that ends well!Okay, I'm suspicious now that I got knock-offs. I put an old well worn one sole to sole with one of the new ones. The new one's bigger. That's just doesn't happen. The embossing on the bottom of the sole is different from all of my others, and nowhere is "Reef" in the design as before. I paid a lot less for them than ever before, and maybe I should've known. These are too big! I should've gotten a size smaller, but I haven't worn a size 7 for 50 years.

Great for comfort, don't last forever
This is my 6th or 7th time buying these flip flops. This tells you both the thing I love and hate about these flip flops - they are super comfortable and I wear them all the time; AND they wear out after continued heavy-duty wear. These are great for larger women, like me, who need support, but love flip flops. They have about 1in arch support which is great, because I need arch support. They don't rub against my skin like some rubber or even leather flip flops have. I like them better than Rainbows for this reason. Also, the strap is very durable and has never popped out of the sole like some rubber flip flops I have had. The foam cushion footbed is the part that eventually wears out for me. I have had them wear to the foam sole many times, making them less comfortable and ultimately I replace them. One other minor drawback is that they take a while to dry when wet. All in all, these are a good bet for comfort.

Great Flip Flops with the Comfort Factor
I love these sandals. I looked at many different shoes that would give me a bit of arch support (I've recently started to have some discomfort from going barefoot too often), be comfortable, look nice, and be affordable. These shoes definitely delivered. The arch support is not outstanding, but it is definitely comfortable and noticeably present. Right out of the box these shoes had the instant comfort factor, and you feel the cushion in each step. For about the first week of wear the shoes turned the bottom of my feet black, nothing a little rinse in the tub didn't fix, but now the ink does not appear to transfer to my feet anymore. I am usually a true 6.5 shoe, with short toes, and the 7 fit perfectly. The braiding straps are comfortable and don't rub or leave blisters. The toe post is also a comfortable size and has not once caused a blister.

Comfortable, simple flip flops
I usually get the other Ginger, and they've been my favorite flip flops ever. I had to buy new ones because the thong pulled out while I was walking. I can't tell if these feel cheaper or just have to be broken in. The thing I love about Reef is the simplicity, the comfort, and the grip of the bottom, and these mostly have all those as far as I know.

Great comfortable, supportive, waterproof sandals
I got Reef sandals like these from a store a few years ago and wore them all the time. Sadly, after wearing them constantly for 2 or 3 summers, my dog eventually chewed them apart. I decided to look them up on amazon for a replacement, and I'm so glad to find them online, in several colors too! I now have a couple pairs! They are very comfortable with great arch support. The fabric over the top of the foot is soft and super comfy and does not cause any rubbing. The sandal is waterproof as well, perfect for going somewhere where you need waterproof sandals but will also be doing a lot of walking. I have even thrown the white ones in my washing machine a few times to brighten them up when they've gotten dirty!I highly recommend these sandals, I will be reordering these whenever mine get worn down

Formerly Quality Product No Longer Worth Purchasing
The quality of Reef flip flops has plummeted over the last two years. I started wearing Reefs in the early 2000s. I wear my flip flops everywhere (inside, outside, running errands, around town -- all the time) and a single pair used to last between six and eight months. My most recent pair lasted only two months. Here's the deal with new Reefs, as compared to the Reefs of 10-12 years ago:- The sizing has changed. My feet have not grown, but I have to order a size up from what I ordered two years ago.- The upper sole (the foam that your foot sits on) condenses faster, providing inferior support and less comfort.- The bottom sole wears down faster, contributing to the lack of support and comfort, in addition to the shoe simply wearing out faster.- The quality of construction is low. On my most recent pair, both shoes had loose threads between the toes which were uncomfortable and had to be dealt with. I didn't have scissors in my car and pulled one of the threads, causing all of the stitching between the toe on one shoe to come undone. (My fault for pulling the string, but Reef's lack of quality control that allowed loose threads in the first place.)- The price has remained about the same ($20), but I would prefer the price had kept up with inflation ($25 today compared to $20 in 2004) and the quality had remained the same. Instead, Reef has downgraded the quality of its materials to maintain its price point.I used to love my Reefs and I wore them everywhere. With the dramatic decrease in quality and length of wear I will no longer purchase Reef products. And so begins the search for a new sandal...

Best flip-flops
Very comfortable, walked 5miles a day for 3 weeks, was in and out water. Have now worn them in for years and still sturdy and perfect

The only flip flops I will ever wear!
I love these flip flops. I hope Reef never stops making them! This is my 5th pair and have been buying the Reef Ginger Drift flip flops for about 10 years now. I literally wear them until there are holes in the sole.I have a chronic foot issue that makes wearing anything other than sneakers cause soreness in short time. I can wear these flip flops far longer than any other sandal. The sole is thick and will form to your foot after wearing them for a while. The fabric straps never cause blisters even on the first day of wear. One pair last me 2 years before wearing out or having issues. I cant recommend these sandals enough!
