Speedo Deluxe Mesh Equipment Bag

This bag has been a standard-setter for any wet gear bag that may be on the market - you should not expect anything less that what you get here for the price.It is larger than it looks, and can easily fit an entire wetsuit in it, as well as your towel, goggles, cap, and any other small items you may have with you at the pool. If you train in the pool with fins, a snorkel, a board, or any other equipment, this bag will hold all your items well. The material is thick and fairly robust quality nylon, with the straps and seams being sown well. The product has been made simply but well, and looks like it is going to last. That being said, I haven't had any majorly heavy load carried in it, but the bag is also not designed for that either, it really is a swimming equipment bag only.I am concerned that the small metal ring at the top of the bag - the "eye" that drawstring pulls through - may break or rust. It's done a good job so far, but I am being fairly gentle with it in order to prevent any breakages.One criticism is that it does not have a smaller pocket or inside divider for a set of keys or a wallet or something. This is not a deal breaker but could have been constructed easily.All in all, I feel my money has been fairly spent on a bag for my swim kit, it is exactly what I needed, and it was a bonus that it was bigger than expected. Nothing fancy, but does the job required for the price paid.

The tote looks great and it has one bonus feature I didn't count on.The capacity is fine. I have a set of TYR size 11-13 swim fins, a mask, a snorkel, some flip-flops for wearing to the pool, and my swimsuit. All of this fits with no problem. It has room to spare, and seems a convenient shape and size. However, it doesn't have padded straps like a backpack (and I wouldn't want it too, I like that it's slim and light) and I think it would get a bit heavy to carry with much more in it.One thing I didn't realize from the description, was that it also has a pouch for storing small objects. In fact, I almost didn't get it because I thought there was no pouch, so I was pleasantly surprised to find one. Picture something the size of a kids pencil pouch for school. It's a flat compartment measuring nine inches long by five inches deep. The zipper is on the outside, along the seam on the side. The body of the pouch is a small pocket that sticks into the bag. It's slim and its not something you would put a swim mask into, but its fine for carrying miscellaneous small stuff. In addition, it has a small slot for an ID card on the back.I just received it so I can't comment about durability. I have high hopes for its ability to stand up to the load.

I purchased three of the speedo bags for swim team. The black bag was the best.The black bag has a side zipper pocket to store goggles and the draw string with toggle worked great.The pink bag has a side zipper pocket, however, the drawstring did not pull tight without a lot of hard pulling on the string and moving the material with hands to bunch up and close. To open the bag requires moving the material out of the bunch and fixing whatever the string is catching on. Something is wrong with this particular bag.The dark blue bag does NOT have a side zipper pocket. I like keeping my children's goggles separate from the fins and paddles so they don't get scratched and was disappointed the pouch was missing.I stepped up to these mesh bags because the mesh allows air to circulate around the wet equipment and I liked the backpack straps for ease of carrying items.I took one star off because of the inconsistency of the pocket and drawstring.

i thought this was the perfect swim bag for its price. it shipped very quickly. when i opened this product, i thought that it was way too big. it was about the size of a twin pillowcase when it was flat, but overtime it shaped and became a very convenient sze. i used it to keep a swimsuit, goggles, two towels, a large bottle of shampoo, and occasional snacks. the pocket is about the size of a plastic sandwich bag. i use it to keep a spare set of goggles, a comb, and my wallet and iPod. it is very comfortable to carry although the mesh holes on the bottom get your back and rear wet. when it is carried by one strap like a purse, it has no problems. the id pocket is kind of pointless to me though. the only bad thing is that you have to put in some effort to close the drawstring but it doesnt matter much to me. overall, it is a great product and i doubt that i will have to buy again because of its great quality!

The main compartment is roomy and the mesh sides seem to aerate well. The zip pocket on the side is rather small, and there is only one. It would be helpful if there was another pocket, or a smaller compartment inside the main compartment to separate dry items. There is a small opening at the bottom of the bag covered by mesh, which I think is supposed to help the bag drain should any water collect at the botttom. However the opening is facing your back so I imagine that if there is water dripping, it would drip onto your back. Perhaps having the opening face the other surface of the bag might be more effective. Overall I am happy with it.

Built to last and good size. This works perfect for my snorkeling gear....and MORE!! Very well made and well worth the price. Measures about 2' tall by 17" wide. I purchased 2 of these, one for my wife, and one for myself for our vacation snorkeling gear. Let me tell you it works great. Perfect size and folds down flat for travel!! With all these new restrictions and increased fees for baggage you couldn't find a better bag. I purchased 2 black bags which came exactly as described. Also it has a 7"L x 5"W zipper bag on the right top side of the bag; which is perfect for keys/wallet. I would recommend to buy for anyone looking for a pool, beach, scuba, or snorkeling bag. Some say the bag is too big, but I say better than not enough room!!

The bag is the perfect size to take kit for grand daughter and self to pool and transfer to lockerwithout juggling. Very handy side zipped pocket for membership card or coins for lockers.Mesh structure allows gear to dry on the way home and await washing. Lightweight and so much betterthan a closed bag for wet gear.

Both one each of these for my nieces and they love them. I have an older version for myself and I am pleased to see the bag now has a separate pocket for items such as goggles. Good value for money - recommended
