This 300 grams lens is nicely built with quality. The rotating of the focus ring is smooth with little dampness/friction. The aperture ring has a smooth, clickless ring, and videographers will love it. I am okay with it but I do miss the clicky experience. It gives me some sense of which aperture I am at now.This image quality from this lens does not disappoint me. It still has very good sharpness and contrast at wide open. But I also notice that the sharpness isn’t that great at the extreme corners. In short, the image is totally usable.It has good chromatic aberration control but I do observe mild vignetting. At least there is one less thing to take care of in post-processing.At MOD of 17.5 cm, this lens delivers true 1:1 magnification. Having said that, it has various magnifications throughout its focusing distance.Because there are various magnifications throughout its focusing distance, you might get the illusion that there is lens breathing or “zooming” going on.Macro lens is limited to only macro photography. I find the focal length is very suitable for street (depending on the kind of street photography you are in), portrait, product shoots, and possibly journalist photography.All in all, it is practical lens that able to carry around more as compared to other autofocus large macro lens.

Well built lens that can take decent macro pictures at a cheap price. No auto focus which is fine for my watch making macro work. AF just gets in the way. I shoot 4K live video and it's very good this with my M200 EOS Canon. The barrel has a very nice solid feel to it. And it's easy to bring into focus on the M200.

I have a full frame camera and that is not a match for me. The resulting round view with black corners will surely annoy the most patient of us. However, the lens does work and it will do the job if you do not mind post photography editing to crop the image. As with any macro lens, lighting will need to be a priority to get it right.

I have a Sony A6700 (E-mount). When I received this lens, the box even said E-mount. When I tried to put this lens on my camera, it was clearly not compatible with E-mount. It was something larger that would never be able to fit my camera. Very disappointed.

Great for macro shots, but longer shots are difficult to impossible to obtain a good manual focus even with enhanced focus peeking. Focus ring as too little movement between one meter and infinity.

Ich habe das Objektiv gleichzeitig mit dem Olympus zuiko 60mm ausprobiert. Erst habe ich das Maike zurück gesendet, weil ich dachte ich brauche keine zwei 60mm Makroobjektive.Das Olympus brauche ich zum Fokusstsacking, was mit dem Maike nicht möglich ist, weil es ausschließlich manuell zu bedienen ist und nicht mit der Kamera „kommuniziert“. Im Vergleich zum Olympus sind die Aufnahmen mit dem Maike Objektiv jedoch angenehm weich und dennoch relativ kontrastreich. Die Aufnahmen mit dem Olympus sind dagegen teilweise unangenehm „scharf“ so dass Pflanzen in einem Stillleben mit Schmuck / Schmuckfotos für Instagram, insofern Teile mit in den Schärfebereich kommen, durch den hohen Kontrast in den Poren/Details zu sehr vom Schmuck ablenken. Das ist der Grund dafür, dass ich das Maike Objektiv dann erneut bestellt habe und nun auch gerne nutze.

Das Objeltiv kam im klassischen Amazon UMkarton und darin dann der Produktkarton. Alles gut und sicher verpackt, dass es schadlos hier ankam.Ausgepackt hatte ich ein kleines, sich wertig anfühlendes Objektiv aus Metall in der Hand. Stufenloser Blendenring und soft laufender Fokusring mit m/f Angaben und auch Abbildungsgrößen.Direkt an meiner Fuji x-t5 getestet. Mit 40 MP bildet das Objektiv für den Preis wirklich erstklassig ab, aber……. Für meine Hände keine Makro für „aus der Hand geschossen. Selbst bei Blende 8-11 einen ultraschmalen Schärfebereich. Also entweder mit Stativ oder sogar Makroschlitten. Jedenfalls macht es einen recht wertigen Eindruck und für das Geld ein echter Schnapper, wie ich finde.Meine Empfehlung für entschleunigendes Fotografieren. Macht schon Spaß 👍🏼

It is manual only but the focus works smoothly, it is well built and the lens does not extend so remains small and compact on the camera, great value for a macro lens.

Ich nutze das manuelle Objektiv an einer Sony A6100. Es kostete beim Amazon Retouren knapp 160€. Zwischen Blende 8 bis 11 ist es in den Ecken und in der Mitte im Abbildungsmaßstab 1:1 scharf. Farbsäume fielen mir bislang nicht auf.Sicher gibt es bessere Objektive, aber die sind bedeutend teurer (400-500€). Bislang nutzte ich das Makro von Sony SEL 30M35 (und das macht als Makro keinen Spaß, trotz Autofokus (Naheinstellgrenze)).Für mich war es ein guter Kauf.Das 2. Bild ist eine 200% Vergrößerung.
