Disappointed no tone improvement with open E string in pizzicato mode
The claimed over winding of two different metals in the string structure is difficult, if not impossible, to detect physically and that leaves me unsure what I bought. Not that I am saying the vendors description is wrong as it may be my violin or my ears are at fault in respect of tone. I changed from my previous all metal violin E string because of poor pizzicato tone in the open E string mode, but there is no difference with the new string and so I suppose it may be a problem with my violin? I would appreciate comment on this.
