Hycote Wheel Paint Lacquer 400ml

Nice and shiny! This spray on lacquer was the cheapest of similar products, but it worked fine. The distribution of spray was good. No problems whatsoever. The drying time was a lot longer than expected but I did drench the items I was spraying. You also need to shake the can vigorously beforehand for 2mins, which wears your arms out if you are not He-Man. I bought my can from EuroCarParts.

This product is good, but not excellent. Does the job, but the results are not wow. Try a few and decide what is better for you.

Not prefect, it still comes out in globules often and messes painted surfaced, but otherwise have confidence with Hycote, but at a cost over alternatives.

Having used several lacquer aerosols over the years for steel and alloy wheel refurbishment I rate this personally as the best , many other products will peel in a relatively short time, this does not if applied correctly. Remember to ensure your base coat is absolutely blemish free before applying the lacquer top coat , apply nothing to this initial finish before spraying and definitely leave the original paint for at least 72 hours before spraying with the Hycote product. I find two coats is ample to complete the process. Do not over spray as it would "run " and do not worry if it appears "white" initially as this changes into a lovely gloss clear finish as it cures. As usual , a great deal from AMAZON and received very quickly.

I can't say this is a BAD product, nor can I say it's an entirely good one. Incredibly slow to cure and harden (I sprayed it over top of my Black spray from the same brand), and is still tacky hours later. Touching it is much like when you use duct tape for hours, it ends up sticking to everything and giving you sore fingers. I'm not sure if it's the same for everyone, but I'm leaning towards this being an enamel-based spray from my own knowledge. A usual lacquer should harden in about 15-20 minutes, an hour at most. So be wary, but it's an alright product nonetheless, I'll probably be buying a different lacquer next time though.

Utilisée dans le cadre de la rénovation d’enjoliveurs, rendu parfait, très simple d’utilisation. Quantité largement suffisante pour 4 enjoliveurs

Stockage dans de bonnes conditions et purge de la buse après la première utilisation mais... Je n' ai pu m'en servir qu'une seule fois car plus rien ne sort même avec une buse neuve, il reste plus des trois quarts du produit inutilisable !

Yo creo que es algo que te ayuda a que mantengas tus llantas siempre con un brillo uniforme y si haces cualquier tipo de raya o arañazo los puedes disimular bastante bien aunque el engorro sería desmontar las llantas de la cubierta yo voy a intentar hacerlo sin desmontarlo para dar un brillo homogéneo a todo incluso aunque acabe dándole acá un poco al perfil de la rueda pero lo importante es dar una capa de laca que proteja toda la llanta aun cuando se rallan la parte de los tornillos cuando se cambian las cubiertas para disimular todas este tipo de rayas
