Very sturdy and perfect palm size

So I did some reading up on this comb for labor purposes and was convinced I'd use it, since I wanted to try birth sans medication. However things didn't go according to my plan and our little buddy's heart rate was elevated and my midwife ended up suggesting an epidural to calm everything down. Also I didn't experience that much pain up to that point either and had been in labor for more than 6 hours.That being said, it's sturdy!! The construction is beautiful!! The comb comes with a cord attached to put around your wrist so it's always close at hand. It also comes with a lovely leather case! And when squeezing it, you can tell it's not going to fold, give out, or break. It's also larger than I thought it would be. I have smaller palms but long fingers so it would have worked fine for my hands.I'm sad I wasn't able to try this for it's intended purpose, but now our little boy has a beautiful comb, I use after every bath to make sure his hair is just right😊9/10 would recommend

I'm not kidding when I say I've been looking for the perfect labor comb for almost 2 years now. My last birth I used a cheap plastic comb and although it "worked" I knew there had to be something better out there. I looked everywhere you could think of then one day I came across this comb and I immediately fell in love. It was perfect! The shape, what it was made of, and don't get me started on the wrist strap. It had everything I wanted in a comb and more. I had to have it!When it came in it was even better in person then what I thought. The shape is perfect and it's not sharp on your hand at all. You can tell it's well made and I hope to have mine for all my future births after this one too. I love the added design of the wrist strap because now it can just hang on my wrist in between contractions and I won't keep losing it like I lost the plastic one last time. The bag it comes in is super convenient to just pop in your hospital bag so it's ready for the big day.Save your time looking and buy this comb instead! I know you won't regret it just like I haven't.

The value for money is great with this product. But let's be honest, once I got to a 5 with dilatation this didn't really help with pain management. But this is a great way to distract yourself from the pain.

I just gave birth last week. I was very excited about using my labor comb as I was going to have a natural birth. Once I went into labor I used this comb as directed and saw no difference in how I felt pain wise. ended up tossing it somewhere and relying on my husband for counter pressure on my low back instead to help control the pain. For reference, I had my waters artificially broken early on, so my pain was amplified a little more than it should have been otherwise.

I absolutely love the design of this comb. It just screams functional if you know how a labor comb works. The strap is a total game changer. No more trying to find the comb once your contraction ends and you let go a little too much from the comb. I got this for myself for my labor and also to have on hand for clients (midwife and doula services).
