Fits my needs, so I love it!!First off, it's a trade off of a color touch screen for a longer battery life and outdoorsy features. So it's a black and white screen and it does take a little time to get used to navigating with only the buttons. Also, the wireless pay feature not Google or Apple Pay and I think can only be used for specific things overseas.That said, LOVE the 25 day battery life! Potential unlimited battery life if kept in sunlight for at least 3 hours a day. More of a useful feature for extended camping, hiking, or out at sea.Any notifications you get on your phone are shown on the watch. If you get a ton of notifications and/or answer a lot of calls, reply to a lot of messages, etc, I'm sure the battery life would be less than the 25 days I get. Still longer than other smart watches, though.You can reply to text messages, but only with preset replies. It comes with preset replies, but you can compose your own in the app, too.Like other smart watches you can also customize the watch face, use it to locate your phone, basic music control of your phone, answer a call, stopwatch, set a timer, count steps, heart rate, etc.Some of the more outdoorsy features are that it's waterproof (I can swim, not deep dive, in the pool), record my track with GPS when hiking so I can backtrack if needed, compass, altimeter, barometer, and thermometer.For the price I think most people don't need those outdoorsy features and would probably be better off with a colorful touchscreen. It'd be great if I could have a color touchscreen, but I don't mind giving that up for the 25 day battery life and outdoorsy features!

Overall a good watch with a lot of sensors that work properly. However:Things I like:- Seems sturdy. Good build quality.Things I don't like:- Battery life. Lower than I expected (I came from a CASIO TOUGH SOLAR). I bought it thinking that the solar charge will keep the watch charged for more days as I live in a very sunny ecuatorial country. I was wrong. Battery life is aroung two weeks for basic time keeping and heart rate monitoring. With heavy use I wouldnt expect more than a week.- User interface: More than 6 months later and still CANNOT understand the functioning of the buttons. The buttons are kind of weird positioned and it is not very intuitive to navigate the options. Maybe It is just not simple to navigate only with buttons a smartwatch.

love it. long battery life. is a little tricky to get it all set up like I wanted. lots of options for screen settings and options but then I love it.

This is just the same performance that I have in the original Instinct Solar. Battery drains the same, solar charges the same.I like the original, but not impressed with version 2. Based on other reviews I thought I will not need recharging if electric chargers are not available, but that is not the case.

Only reason for four stars is because I have not had it long enough to try all of the potential features. I purchased mine “Used. In New condition” with a description that the watch had been returned as “Purchased by mistake”. Arrived in new condition with all of the original packaging. Very pleased with my purchase.
