Hercules Stands Hercules Guitar Rack - 3 Space

My first purchase was a less expensive version of this 5-guitar stand from an un-named country with the 2nd largest population on Earth. It was a piece of crap. Shaky and cheap... I wouldn't put any of my guitars in it. Then I saw this stand made by a much more reliable manufacturer who I'd bought other products from in the past. While more expensive, of guitars are thousands of dollars each... so why go cheap on the thing that'll keep the headstock attached to the guitar? You can buy optional spacers to increase this from 3 to 5 guitars. Much happier now.

I have both the 5 and 3 guitar stand. I also put the extra expansion hardware on both, so now 6 and 4. Fairly sturdy and quickly collapsible for moving. I feel my 5 (6) is at its weight limit and has been in service 7yrs. The 3 (4) is new and appears to be same quality. They've crept up in price over the years but nothing else matches it that im aware of in this range.

Fairly Sturdy and can adjust top neck holders and bottom foam rings to customize for electric or acoustic. I think you can fit more than 5 guitars on this rack, and believe the manufacturer may sell additional guitar separators, ie the foam rings and plastic neck holders.

Upgradable to hold up to 6 guitars, secure hold and folds away if necessary. This is my favorite guitar storage solution I have used! A great value for the money. Don’t waste your time with other brands like I did

I didn't do extensive research. I didn't do a ton of comparisons. It didn't take a month or two of considerations...These work and they work well. I did compare this to a "similar" String Swing model and quickly decided that the modularity and versatility of this unit outweighed any visual considerations. And now that I have it in hand, I'm glad I didn't fart around with wanting something "pretty".I had two guitars next to my recording area on wall mounts and now I have space for 2 more guitars. With some creative reorganizing, the place is taking shape.You can stuff 5 guitars into these with the addition of the available add on HA205 extensions (one of which I did purchase), but I think four is a more "comfortable" fit...your mileage may vary. I like it with 4 right now, but it's nice to know I can add another if I want/need to.I think the price is more than reasonable and the quality is good. An added PLUS...no assembly required. Open the box, remove the plastic shroud, unfold it and voila! Your guitars have a comfy new home.Hard to go wrong with this one...
