No. It does NOT have a 3.5 mini Jack. It only has a Type-C usb intended for charging only.

Obviously the answer will be subjective, depending on what "loud" means to any particular person. In my view, it can play music quite loudly, particularly since it is not a particularly bulky speaker. In the house I don't dare raise it anywhere near its maximum level, and even outside a comfortable listening level is not at its maximum capability. Given that the speaker can be paired with another one, I expect that in that case the volume could be raised even to a level that would be uncomfortable to a normal listener. That having been said, it's one person's opinion, but for a unit of this size, it is plenty loud.

How many watts is the unit ?

Tell you what buddy Im a Skullcandy fan from way back. Don’t bother. I was so disappointed I sent it back, not impressed at all. The older ones were so much better the Anker sound core motion boom is a good one. I’m not one bit prejudiced against anything, but I am guilty of being an audio file I like my sound quality and it’s just not there anymore with Skullcandy, some of the earbuds are OK.

Looks can be decieving

Good little speaker

It works great and sounds good . Wish it was louder as we bought it to use outside on a float trip , But it works great within an inside space . It is definitely water proof as it got wet many times and still works !

almost perfect

buying in 2025 you will have to connect with the mobile app and perform an update. no way around it. the speaker will sound like a $10 speaker that was run through the wash otherwise. its a pretty simple and complete "fix" for the sound quality. i have one in my office and gifted one to my 12 year old daughter. both work well AFTER the update. VERY loud indoors. just keep that whole update thing in mind if you're purchasing for a gift. you'll either need to open it up and do that prior to gifting...or before initial use on that person's big day/xmas/etc

If you’re accustom to excellent sound quality…

Owned a UEBoom wireless speaker for the last decade or more. Excellent sound quality from that speaker using my same iPhone. Can’t say the same for the skull candy terrain xl. Base is weak. Don’t worry about turning the volume up cause the sound quality totally drops out. I got this on sale for $28, which is why I gave it three stars. No connection issues. This unit is bigger and weighs less than my old UEBoom. Its weight is a testament to the cheap drivers used that have smaller magnets. Bottom line is that if you want an inexpensive speaker for out in the yard this unit is ok. If sound quality matters better try a different brand and plan on spending more. I do plan to pair two of these together to see what that’s like. Will update with what I find out.
