Saviland Acrylic Nail Starter Kit: Clear Pink Nude

I purchased the SAVILAND Gel Nail Kit in the Short Square Nails during Amazon’s Prime Days in July 2025. All I can say is I am in love!! I have always loved having long nails as my natural nails are just ick. I had transitioned from acrylic nails to gel nails in the last year to hopefully help with the health of my nails. But the cost of going to the salon every 2-3 weeks was quickly exceeding my budget as the cost continued to climb and climb. I stopped going to the salon about 4 months prior but was really missing my long nails. Then I found this kit and for the price during Prime Days I thought I’d give it a try. A whole gel nail kit, PLUS a gel polish kit and the nail prep kit, was less than the cost of one trip to the salon. Using it just one time was going to pay for itself. So I thought ‘what the heck! I’ll give it a try!’ After completing my first set, I was hooked! The gel nail kit comes with everything you need to DIY. The instructions are clearly written and easy to understand and follow. The nail tips (which are full coverage!) are of good quality, and there is a large variety of sizes making it easy to find the right fit for each nail. The 4-in-1 brush-on gel is easy to use and cures quickly with the included light. The included nail drill is light in weight and fits in my hand easily - not bulky or heavy. The speed of the nail drill is easy to adjust and it has both a “forward” and “reverse” direction which is also easily adjusted. After reading many reviews, I did also purchase the nail prep kit (dehydrator and ph bond) to ensure proper adhesion. Like any new skill, it does take practice, but I have now done three sets, NONE of which have chipped, cracked or popped off. With each new set, the process gets easier and easier and I have been able to improve my technique and speed. I have received MULTIPLE compliments on my nails and everyone I’ve told that they were DIY has said they are definitely salon quality. So much so, my daughter and her friend have begged me to do theirs! I’ve enjoyed doing my own nails so much, I have expanded my personal kit to include Saviland’s Pro Salon 2-in-1 LED UV Lamp, Metallic Paint Markers, and Latex Tape (GAME CHANGER!!!). I recently purchased the SSProRemoval X fast gel nail polish remover but have not yet had the opportunity to try it. I can’t say enough good things about this gel nail kit or the Saviland brand. I doubt I ever return to a salon now that I can do these myself.

This acrylic nail kit is a great option for doing your nails at home. It comes with useful supplies to get started, and I like that everything is included in one kit. It’s convenient for practicing different nail styles without having to buy each item separately. Overall, it’s a nice kit for beginners who want to try doing acrylic nails at home.

It brings everything you need to start making acrylic nails and the products are of good quality. The instructions are easy to follow and, although I am a beginner, I was able to get good results. The value for money is excellent. I recommend it for those who want to learn without spending too much.

Disclaimer: I am not a professional nail technician, I am a hobbyist. I only work on my own nails and thus have a very limited point of view. I actually really like these. I typically use these with a builder gel. I have had trouble with forms on my nails in the past and these were very easy to work with, fit nicely and are very low cost. They’re also pretty to look at. The way that the iridescent color reflects helps me a lot with the placement of the clear gel specifically. I have terrible depth perception, so on black forms, for example, sometimes the shine of the clear gel blends with the shine of the form. With these forms, the light reflects differently through the clear gel. I like that there is a perforation on the form for extra long extensions that you can remove for shorter nails, like mine. I add that extra piece to the bottom of the form for more support, which is great, though they are thick enough on their own, too. There are multiple shapes on the form and the guide lines are okay - I wish the center line was a little more bold, but it was still fine. I like that there is a small bump out at the bottom because it lets the form stick together around my sausage fingers and holds the form on my finger more steadily. They are sticky enough to do the job well, but not enough to be annoying during placement. I also really appreciate the box that they come in that easily lets you remove one form at a time, although I wish there were perforations to tear the paper off easier. These fit under both my large LED lamp and my very first tiny Sally Hansen LED nail lamp perfectly fine. I am not exactly sure what the item description ‘reusable’ is referring to, but these are not reusable. All in all, they’re pretty good for what they are. I haven’t tried many types of nail forms, but these are my favorite so far. I would definitely recommend them.

This acrylic nail kit includes a lovely selection of products for creating beautiful manicures at home. I especially like the soft, natural-looking colors and the variety of supplies included. I am disappointed with this product. Thought I carefully read the reviews. These nail forms do not seem to work well with small nails. The curve is too acute — a large amount of builder gel gets under the nail which is hard to remove after it is set. Because it is so loose, impossible to remove without the form swiveling. Tried overlapping at the base. Did not help much. I suspect it has to do with size of the nail because I started with the thumbs and was happy, happy, thinking I had found a winner. Not any success with extending length on other nail. Not a nail pro but usually can find a work around. I gave up, not worth the frustration. Easier to wait for the nail to grow. Had just shortened them while I waited for builder gel to be delivered.

It’s been a month since I put this on. I just needed an inexpensive fix for a broken toe nail for an event really quick. It took a little getting used to but it works really well.

I bought the Gel-X kit with square nails. The kit worked good. They were not too hard to put on. It took me about a hour from start to finish. They lasted a week. Then, 2 fell off on my dominant hand. I’m hard on my nails as I’m an elementary school teacher. Maybe they’d last longer for someone else. They looked professional. I soaked them off in acetone, took 20 minutes or so.

Decent acrylic set, glows really nice, ok to work with young nails monomer, great for beginners recommend this kit

This is a great set of nail prep when doing my poly gel nails. Nice large bottle of product. Works well to prep my nails so my poly gel set last longer! I definitely recommend!

Great slip solution, does what it’s supposed to do, I usually use modelones brand but they were sold out so I ordered this one and it works just the same

Very easy to use, but does have an odour! I purchased the other recommendation and this one takes the cake by far.
