mt Washi Masking Tape Roll - Lavender,15mm * 10m

MT tape is simply the superior washi tape of them all. The gold standard. Feels great, sticks great. I always keep black for scrapbooking purposes.

I first discovered MT tape in Japan 15 years ago - and haven't made a change since! It's really easy to stick (on almost any surface) and to reposition! The colours and patterns are excellent.

I like washi tape as it's much smoother than masking tape. The are usually patterned though and I wanted plain black to border a diamond painting, I was putting into a frame a little too big for it.It worked perfectly. It's smooth, a lovely deep black and you can't even see it's 2 strips wide on a couple of the sides.If I run out, I'll definitely be buying again.

I bought this as well as silver and black.The tape is really good. It's quite thin but the colour is nice and it stick well so I'm not complaining.I used it to hang up posters, I ran a strip along each side of the poster. I have to say it worked better than I expected. I thought it would fall off given how thin the tape is, but it actually lasted the whole year in my dorm room and came off with ease once I had to move. My one and only complaint is if you're not careful you might end up ripping the poster if you use this to stick one up. It is not easy to find a Matt gold tape for craft purposes, most are shiny. I eventually came across this one and it is perfect for my project. It is easy to work with and adhesion is sound. It is a welcome addition to my collection of washi tapes.

Use it to mask off watercolour paper. Removes well though I don’t leave it on for more than a day or so. Leaves clean edges if you remove slowly and as you remove the tape keep it only a centimetre or less above as you peel back.

This is my first experience with washi tape and it certainly won't be my last. The tape creates bold, crisp patterns easily. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to make patterns with it accurately enough (I'm a perfectionist) but I was able to adjust the tape multiple times after laying it down. It sticks very well but hasn't left any residue when I removed some. The tape feels strong but easy to handle at the same time. It is matte which I like. I bought the black and grey colours. I wanted to improve a few older pieces of furniture and I think it worked well. I would recommend as I am disabled and have joint issues with my hands and yet I was able to use this tape with more ease that I was expecting. I'm probably going to buy more when I run out.

So I really wanted to give it a great review here... I’m professional watercolour artist, I bought 1 tape to try for my smaller watercolour paintings and it’s perfect so I went ahead and ordered 8 more! the tracking with Royal Mail never moved from advised so obviously it was never shipped! I had to wait a week before requesting a refund! Not great so will never buy from this company again however good news is that Amazon has the same product shipped from there warehouse a a few cents cheaper so no brainer!
