High quality assembly tool for Nylon strain reliefs. Avoid the damage caused by using pliers to remove strain relief. Pliers-style nose allows pulling and looping wire. For use with strain reliefs up to 7/8in diameter hole. Spring Loaded Action and closed lock function. Review: Talk about making your life easy! - Easy in/easy out with this tool, and I mean a matter of seconds. Can even reuse the original bushing, mine was still usable after 20 years on my portable heater appliance. The pliers crimp the wire into the strain relief bushing. I added the cord into bushing before inserting the cord/bushing into the metal back of appliance, this is only possible if you have this tool, too difficult otherwise. I wiggled the cord & bushing into place while holding it w/ the pliers. Once I let go, everything expanded a bit so it stayed in place as expected. I had a short at the bushing location from being tugged on one too many times. I opened the appliance, took pics for reference, disconnected all wires, cut cord 6" shorter, reattached all wires, added the bushing, closed-up appliance and voila! This heater was a gift many years ago, so pleased I could give it an even longer life. Review: just ok. - These are a lot cheaper than other strain relief pliers. If only needed for a couple uses they are ok.

Singular task tool . . .
Not many people need to loosen or install electrical cord strain reliefs, but if you do, this is the tool for you. It works well for the job it was intended to do!
