Perfect for setting up both tubed and tubeless set ups on carbon rims. Never scratched anything, worked perfectly even on annoying af tires. Fits in my under-seat bag for emergency re-tubes as well.

I very rarely leave bad reviews, but this lever really let me down. The lip that's there to remove the tire is just way too short to easily get under the tire. The only way to get the lever under the tire is to push the tire back until it's basically flat. Then the handle is so short, you can't really get much power behind it to take the tire off. So my tire got maybe 20% off then the lever got stuck and wouldn't move. I've been working on my own bikes for a decade, and this is the worst lever I've ever used. I'm really confused by the positive reviews EDIT: the issue was an old, STIFF tire. The lever put on a new tire easily. Still wish the lip to take off tires was longer, but still not a bad design.

Solid. Getting a bike tire on and off bead can be a pain. This however is so convenient and perfect it’s worth the purchase. Simple and easy to use, but it’s a game changer. Worth the asking price and saves the headache on putting a bike tire on and off. Also handy to keep in your bag for quick flat tire repairs.

I bought this tool out of frustration because on the past three tires I’ve put on my MTB (all Maxxis), I would end up struggling to bead the tire so much that I’d stretch the bead and get the classic Maxxis wobble. This tool was worth every penny. It has a good grip, it’s light so you can take it on the go, and it’s very thin. One thing to note, though, is that it’s mostly beneficial for **beading** a tire, not taking one off. I tried using this tool to remove a tire I had sitting on an old wheel I don’t use anymore, and it was stuck to the rim with dried sealant. The tool didn’t end up getting the tire off, but it was worth a try. All in all, if you have trouble beading your tubeless tires—or tires in general—this is a strong, comfortable, and thin tool that’s a great investment. It’s excellent for **installing** tires, but not the best for **removing** them. I’d use traditional tire levers for taking tires off and use the Tyre Monkey to put them on.

I bought both a Tyre Glider and a Tire Monkey to try them both out. I have used them so far only on changing tires on a mountain bike - 26 x 1.95 tires. I found both difficult to use to remove the tire - the tires are tall and it was difficult to get either under the bead to take it off. It might work better on a lower profile road tire (I hope since that is what I ride!). It was much easier with the tire irons I have owned and used for 50+ years. Installing the tire with the Tyre Glider was eye opening easy. I found the Tire Monkey worthless for installing. The Tyre Glider is designed so its long portion lies along the rim when you are installing the tire, keeping everything aligned properly and making it easy for you to lean into the tool to muscle a tire onto the rim. The Tire Monkey depends upon your wrist strength to keep everything aligned and if you are needing to push hard, it is beyond at least my strength and ability to do that. Perhaps with practice I would be able to manage, but why bother when the Tyre Glider works without practice. I have arthritis in my hands which makes changing a tire difficult. I can see the Tyre Glider being an effective way for me to continue to be able to fix a flat while out on a ride. Hopefully it works effectively with reinstalling my road tires which is a massive problem for me with just traditional tire irons.

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but this lever has been awesome. I was getting a lot of punctures on my commuter bike (debris in road) and had to do a lot of changes over the last month. This lever made the job quick and easy. Even better, I finally got Schwalbe tires for this bike (ran them forever on my other commuters). These tires are notoriously hard to mount. I mounted two of them in 20 minutes last night. I had beer ready to go for sating my frustration. Never opened one. I used to carry two or 3 of my previous levers, but I’ve only needed one for this one.
