12” Triangular Architect Scale Ruler Aluminum Color Coded Architectural Scale Professional Grade Metal (Imperial Measurements)

My husband thought this ruler was great. It’s aluminum, so it won’t get nicked.

I was really excited about the ruler when I initially received it. It had the coloring on the ruler for easier recognition and I liked the weight. I purchased the aluminum because I carry the ruler frequently in my bag, and was thinking there was less chance of it breaking. After 6 month it can only be used to draw a line. The makings have worn off and the colors are fading before my eyes. How disappointing!!!

The solid aluminum feels great, but the markings are not great quality. Some of the markings are 1/16” away from edge of ruler making it hard to use with precision. Some of the paint is a little smudged. Color on each side feels like it was quickly drawn on using a sharpie.

this sucks. I got the architectural scale to sketch up some home projects and the increments wore off after an hour of using it. surface inked only, not etched, they literally wiped off with my fingers.

My husband raved about this ruler for the first few days (he liked the different colors, which made it easy to keep track of which scale he was using)...until the numbers started wearing off. Sadly, we had to return.

Okay, it's straight and it's accurate. You'd think that would be enough. I didn't figure the bloody graduations would RUB OFF! Fine, I'll stop being such a cheap A and but a Starret or any other real brand. I tried. I failed.

Packaging was already opened when it arrived. Two of the edges were damaged and unusable for drafting. Very disappointed!
