I bought this for myself for Christmas after all the targeted ads to get some trigger time without spending a ton of money on ammo or range fees.Pros- Easy to set up- Pistol laser was reasonably accurate- App worked decently- Price pointMeh- The lighting setting for daylight did not work so well in secondary lighting conditions. It was sunny outside and all the curtains were open, but in a slightly shaded spot, the system did not register several shots. Moved to a brighter area and all the shots registered. I have not tried the "nighttime" setting yet- As others have said, having to re-calibrate after every session is annoying.- I have a hammer fired weapon, so I can do DA all day or manually cock for SA. If you have a striker fired weapon, you have to re-rack every shot.Cons- Shipping. I ordered this from Amazon on Jan 5 2025, and I did not get it until Jan 20, 2025. I don't know if it would be faster straight from the Strikeman siteUnknown- Battery life. I do not know how long the battery will last or how easy it will be to get replacement batteries- Sighting in a new optic. Don't know how accurate it will be if I get a new optic, but should get me close.Overall, pretty happy with the system, but we will see how long it lasts.

Great tool to improve you skills. I purchased this and began to use it and found it was very helpful as I could take my time and focus on the different aspects of acquiring the target, using the sights, the grip, breathing and pulling the trigger. Bottom line, I'm a better and more confident shooter. I have a target set up in the garage and can use this literally every day.

Husband wanted to have somewhere to practice in times he couldn't make it to a range. This set up is great! And very accurate. Makes home practice a breeze!!

When I first purchased the Strikeman laser system I was incredibly happy. For 2 weeks. In my 3rd week of ownership/usage after an app update, the iPhone app become unusable after every single use. After one use, if you tried to open the app again to use it, it goes to a black screen and closes. This requires a full app uninstall, phone recycle and reinstall of the app. After doing this, you get one usage of the app and it does the same behavior as above and requires a reinstall. I’ve left detailed feedback on the Apple App Store four times and the dev team only replies that they are aware of the issue. This feedback is all over the App Store review section, so it isn’t just my product. No timeline on a fix, just yep we know about it. This has gone on for 2 months. After the latest attempt (July 13, 2025) at reinstalling the app, it will now no longer register any laser strikes on the targets outside of 10 feet. Inside if 10 feet, it now only registers roughly half of the laser strikes. You can see the laser hit the bullseye through your optic and the app won’t register the strike. The platform on iPhone iOS is now completely unusable. I’ve communicated with Strikemans customer service, who are great, but they’re at the mercy of a terrible development team. Unfortunately, the platform is dependent on a functioning and reliable app. If you are an iPhone user, stay far away from Strikeman products. Their main competitor has much better reviews here and on the App Store. Sadly, I went from very satisfied to considering the entire platform a waste of money and time because of a terrible development team. One more thing, I purchased the 223 laser cartridge directly from Strikeman and I got roughly 200 strikes before the cartridge became deformed and now no longer functions. 200 strikes and a throw away for a $70 cartridge.

Bought this in the 9mm size for my son for Christmas and he absolutely loved it! As soon as he got home, he set it up in his dining room and his wife sent me pics. He said it works GREAT, and now wants one for every caliber he has! Easy to set up and use, and is accurate for sighting in.

Such a great idea to practice.
