I am concerned that the audible alarm of the Key Finder is so weak that it will be practically useless in finding my keys if they are actually lost
I have had the Key Finder for a little over a month now. I am concerned that the audible alarm of the Key Finder is so weak that it will be practically useless in finding my keys if they are actually lost. I tested the Key Finder by putting it between the cushions of our sofa and the alarm was so weak that it could only be heard when i was within a foot or two of the device. I'm concerned this will make finding the keys very difficult should they actually be misplaced. Is there a way to adjust the volume of the alarm?

Buggy as Hell. Unusable.
This item worked terribly. I spent $60 for two of these thinking I'd be able to find my keys with an app.Issues1. The app insists on running in the background unless you kill it manually. There is no need for this app to be running all the time. Only when I lose my keys.2. The key finder made random noises when I'd pick up my keys in the morning. I didn't initiate the app. Sometimes it would happen at work.3. The one time I did lose my keys it didn't work. I turned the app on, pressed the finder button but didn't hear any noise going through my house. I ended up finding my keys on my own, pressed the "Find" button a few more times but still the keys remained silent. Only after I found my keys, opened the Key Finder, pulled and reset the battery did it start to make the key finding noise.

Do not buy. I waited to long and now can’t return.
It’s horrible. When I am looking at my dog finder says he’s out of range. The time it takes to find him on app takes way to long to work when/if accurate.

This is a scam. Someone has to have the same App next to the item that is lost to work!So another words if my dog is lost in the woods if a bear out in the woods has that app on their phone I'll be able to track my dog

Poor performance
I bought this as a gift. Seemed like a great idea. And it is but only if it works...which this does not. Or, I should say, it seldom works. It has to be reset more often than not, and the volume is easily dampened making it difficult to hear when it does work. I would have returned it, however my friend didn't unbox it for nearly a month. We missed the return window by a couple of weeks. Shop around, where going to try a Google product front Costco.
