Really great quality.
These are great quality, but they did run a little big according to the measurements. I did measure the paw as instructed, but when he was walking they kept falling off no matter how tight I made them around my pup's ankles. If these came in a smaller size (ordered the smallest available - size 3) they would be perfect. I think I just overshot the size on the paw. I live in a condo building full of dogs, so will gift these to a larger dog owner and I know they will be happy! The cement is so hot right now in FL, so these are such a great option and much better quality than our previous shoes. The padding on the bottom is quite thick!

Great dog shoes! May be a bit hot for summer use
These dog shoes are very well made and feel high quality. The rubber traction seems like it would do a great job at keeping your dog from sliding around. The inside of them are very soft, almost fleecy, which I could see getting very hot to wear in the hot sun. They stay on pretty well with the velcro. Most dogs will take a very long time to get used to wearing shoes. I recommend taking it VERY slow, and building up lots of positive associations with the shoes. The first time your dog wears them, do not laugh a them when they walk funny. Instead, encourage them gently, and toss a few treats from wall to wall to get them to walk around without thinking about the shoes on their feet. I first started off with only the front shoes, as to not overstimulate my dog. They will lift their paws and act weird about it for the first few wears. Always take them off if your dog seems overwhelmed, after all, we want them to like wearing the shoes. These would be great snow shoes and keep your pups feet very warm and dry. They will protect your dogs feet from hot pavement, but be sure to take them off at least once per hour as they will get very hot on your dogs feet. Lastly, be sure to measure your dogs paws before purchasing. The largest size fits my 95lb German shepherd well. If anything, they are slightly roomy on him which is definitely preferred. Your dog will be uncomfortable in these if his/her nails are not trimmed or already short, so keep that in mind. I highly recommend these dog boots. They open very wide, and are easy to secure in place with the velcro.

Got Wrong Size, Own Fault
I glanced quickly at the size chart, saw "Labrador" listed for size 6, and ordered a size 6. Even though it specifically explains how to measure a dog's foot to get the correct size, I did not do that. When the shoes arrived and they were too small, I looked again at the size chart. Yes, "Labrador" is listed for size 6, but also for size 7 and size 8. Measuring her foot, which I should have done in the first place, showed me I should have ordered a size 8, not a size 6. Live and learn. I tested them on another family member's dog. The four shoes themselves are very well constructed, and the upper and lower velcro straps hold them firmly in place. The lower velcro strap has a double row of reflective stitching, and there is also a large reflective row above the top of the foot on each shoe. This is a great safety feature. The orange and black color looks pretty cool. The top part of the shoe has a sewn-in tongue that opens wide to easily slip a dog's paw into the shoe. The sole of each shoe has excellent traction and flexes well whether the dog is walking or running. The inside of each shoe is lightly padded and is smooth so there are no areas that would rub and irritate the skin. This is a good set of dog shoes--I just wish I would have paid attention to the directions when choosing the size.

Excellent for Elderly Dog AND for Paw Protection of Hot Pavement
We live in Arizona where the payment gets so hot and cannot walk our dog until a few hours after sunsets. We now can walk our dog knowing her pads are protected and will not burn on hot pavement! Most important need for dog shoes is our dog is becoming elderly and struggling with hips giving out and weakness which leads to traction issues on the tile in our home causing the need for us to lift her when she cannot get up on her own. The grips on the bottom are perfect to assist her in gaining traction to be able to get up on her own! I am so grateful for gives her independence and saves my back from lifting all the time! These are well made and attractive! I love the reflector touches on the shoes as well! She is a larger dog we ordered size 7 which fit her perfectly. The velcro double strap prevents from coming off her paws. Highly recommend these Boxxberk dog shoes!!

Fit matches the chart provided
I got these for one of my Dalmatians who goes to work with me in downtown Dallas. The sidewalks downtown during the summer are scorchingly hot. The fit matches what was advertised in the chart provided by the seller. My Dalmatian foot width is 2.3", and the chart suggested the size #5 for her. They fit perfectly. The two velcro straps keep them on her feet while walking. Seems to be working so far when I take her on long walks downtown on hot sidewalks. Rubber soles seem very durable and definitely protective from hot sidewalks. It took her about an hour to get used to wearing them. When I first put them on her, her gait was similar to a show horse where she would raise her feet higher than normal like a horse would when trotting. After about an hour, she started walking normally with the shoes on.

The 2" size fits our Mini Poodle perfectly
We grabbed these for an upcoming trip this summer. Our dog will be coming with us and we don't want to worry about him hurting his paws on sharp rocks, fish hooks or anything of the sort. These have two straps on the top for securing them to the paw. and the 2" fit our mini poodle perfectly. Not too big, not too small. They have a pretty strong smell when they first come out of the package, but it reminds me of a new wetsuit. It's not overpowering or anything, but just something to be aware of.I'll update the review after my trip to see how they wear and how much he "likes" wearing them.
