The TiFFCOFiO Outdoor Timer has been a fantastic addition to our backyard setup. We use it for our outdoor string lights, and it works flawlessly. The dusk-to-dawn sensor is incredibly convenient—it turns the lights on automatically when it gets dark, and we love that it offers a 2-hour limit option, so the lights don't stay on all night. It gives just the right amount of glow for evening relaxation without wasting energy. The remote control is a great bonus, and the 100 ft range makes it easy to operate from inside the house. The two grounded outlets are perfect for connecting multiple sets of lights, and everything has stayed safe and secure even during heavy rain. The unit feels solid and well-made, and being CSA listed gives us extra peace of mind. Overall, this timer is super reliable, easy to use, and well worth the price!

I absolutely love these timers. I purchased two and they came with numbered stickers on the plugs and remotes so you don’t get them mixed up which was a considerate gesture. They have multi functions but I really like the dusk feature with automatic timer after 2, 4, 5, 6, or 8 hours. Or you can set it from dusk to dawn if you prefer. I purchased these for my outdoor Christmas lights. The turn on around 5pm and I have it set to go off after 5 hours so I don’t have my lights on all night. If you don’t want to use the timer there’s an on and off button on the remote. It was very easy to install, just plug it in! I also like the display panel that lights up so you know how many hours it will be on.

Effect, inexpensive, functional electrical timer that simply requires being plugged in and activated with the provided remote to select the desired timing sequence.

I highly recommend purchasing a different brand. Disappointing quality, and honestly unacceptable. They simply don't last. This is the 2nd one I purchased and it quit working even faster than the first! It lasted for 2 months, then the sensor stopped sensing. They seem to make these to last long enough to get past the return window and past the time most people leave reviews. If people were to wait 3 to 6 months to leave their review, this would likely only have a couple of stars at best. Products like this make one feel taken advantage of.. They are a waste of time, money, and bad for the environment when you have to repeatedly discard and re-buy the same product!

The unit works as advertised and I've had no issues with the sensor working as it should.

Stopped working after only several months. The power button does not click and the remote is not working. Contacted seller and they said they would send a replacement but went weeks without getting a reply and ultimately they never shipped anything to me despite communicating that they would. Had to message the seller multiple times to no response. Their “warranty” is no good if no one responds to you. Edit: after weeks of no response, I did end up getting a replacement shipped. However there still wasn’t any actual communication from the seller.. so a bit confusing. Hopefully this replacement item works for the long haul.

Subtracting one star because to set timer for dusk-plus whatever hours, it must be set prior to them coming on at dusk. Won’t work if you set it up after dusk.
