I ordered this SIM card for my RaceCapture motorsports telemetry system. It’s a great option for the low data, sporadic usage we need and being able to connect to whatever network is best at different tracks is a huge benefit. When it wasn’t working the support team bent over backwards to help make it work and it turns out I didn’t have the SIM card seated properly in my device. Its working flawlessly and is very easy to setup and add data to if needed, the yearly costs are very low and perfect for our needs of 2-3 races a year with just a few hundred mb data per event. We are very pleased and impressed by the incredible customer support! I added a photo of our setup Incase any other RaceCapture users want to give it a shot. Just apply these settings and make sure the SIM card is installed properly and it should work just fine.

I bought a Spectrum SIM card to try on my Android Car radio, after trying similar items from T-mobile and a couple other providers, and none of them worked except for the one from Spectrum which worked immediately without having to change any settings except for the name of the APN. Replenishing my data is a breeze, and I get to do it on the fly, without having to log into my account on my pc, and I like the fact that I get a message informing me when my data is getting low, so I can go ahead and replenish it at my convenience. I must mention the customer service: In one word......EXCEPTIONAL!!! I have been in contact with Maria Danag whenever I had any issues, and I must say that no sooner that I send an email, regardless of the time, I get a response within minutes, addressing my concern. And after same is taken care of, she immediately sends out a follow-up email, inquiring whether my problem/issue had been resolved. It is not common to have people go out of their way to help another, especially these days, and Maria is certainly an exception. I will definitely not hesitate to recommend Spectrum SIM Cards for very good data plans, and hats off to Maria for being the best customer service person I have encountered in quite a while. I needed to install a couple of security cameras at a property in a rural area. I needed a strong reliable connection but one where I would only have to pay for the data I used, since I was only expecting a couple of security images a day and an occasional pick at the property. It was not worth setting up a cable or a fiber connection with such a limited data usage. After extensive online research, I came across this card that provided a perfect solution for me. It has a wide range of reasonably priced plans. Regarding the strength and reliability, since I was not sure, which network was the strongest in that area, I figured this card pretty much covers all of the main network options and it would pick the best one, and it did. I plugged it into a NETGEAR Nighthawk M6 Pro mobile hotspot (also from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CBSWB8L2?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). It worked perfectly. The Internet speed test showed "Your internet connection is fast". I hooked up a couple of wifi cameras (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CVX3F1KW) to the hotspot and the whole system has been working nicely since then. I had a slight issue activating my SIM card because the verification email ended up in the "Promotions" folder rather than in the main inbox. Before I realized it, I contacted the customer service and they replied instantly addressing my issue. To summarize, to my surprise, there were no issues with the setup and everything worked as described and how I imagined it. So, well-deserved 5 stars.

This SIM provider is an outstanding solution for simplicity (pun intended) affordability, and support. Needed to set up a hotspot for nanny-cams to monitor my mother-in-law who has dementia. Chose spectrum, and have been thrilled with my decision. Not only was the initial activation a surprising breeze, the subscription options were perfect for my budget. Spectrum recently updated their network which required updating my SIM chip. They sent me a new SIM (free) and transferred my account settings and existing data balance over to the new chip. The process was seamless with virtually no interruption in service; very important factors given the function this provides. Throughout the process, order, shipment, installation, etc, Maria at Spectrum Customer Service, held my hand and answered all my silly questions; often within minutes of my emails! This level of service is becoming increasingly rare these days!! My hats off to Spectrum, as a company, and especially to Maria as an exemplary representative!
