As an aunt I always look for a gift that surprises my nephew and this remote control car was a great success. Since we took it out of the box he was fascinated by the LED lights and how fast it runs. Control is simple, even for a child, and reaches very good speed (even I had fun playing with it!). I liked that it comes with two rechargeable batteries, allowing us to play longer without waiting for it to charge. In addition, the off-road monster truck design allows you to walk both in the yard and on the sidewalk without problem. It is sturdy, withstands the typical blows of an enthusiastic child, and it shows that it is made with good materials. Seeing my nephew's smile while playing is priceless. In short, it is an entertaining toy, durable and perfect as a gift. Fully recommended!

A hit with a 9 year old. I was happy the car came partly charged so he could try it out right away. He thought it was PERFECT!

Christmas gift for my Grandson. It's now February 12th and the gears are broken. I do NOT recommend!!! Grandpa is pissed !!

The vehicle itself is fine, but the lives of the batteries are really poor. They don't hold charge when new, and that continually declines with time, with them ultimately needing to be replaced with higher quality ones. I also agree with others that the controller actions are a bit too narrow for little ones with fine motor skills that haven't fully developed.
