I brought this to water seedlings while away. As it's about half the price of some branded systems I didn't know what to expect. It worked incredibly well on the seedlings and all summer long on my tomatoes. It needs occasional monitoring to check the amount of water its delivering but it has alot of settings.It is easier to connect the tubing if you dip it in warm water first.It has worked perfectly.

This water system is great. I finally don't have to go to allotment every day to water it. I regret not buying this earlier. It is easy to assebley and to use. Good value for money.

the controller is brilliant, the drippers are brilliant (as opposed to micro-sprinklers)BUT the distribution tube is rubbish.I thought that reviews saying it was difficult to get on were from non-diyer's, I was wrong. It's a pain in the neck to fit to the t junctions....I tried to get an extension tube to do the obvious - but none avialble.Then I got the standard micro-tube just like this one..Gardena Micro-Drip System Supply Pipe: Flexible supply pipe, 4.6 mm (3/16"), can be laid above or below ground, UV-stabilised,50m for £26.72It worked perfectly with other bits too.I did find the low water level sensor convenient, and it worked.too late to return

I got this as it saves on electric, I dont need to use a hose and if I am away, the plants get watered.On opening the box, I checked and all the bits were there with the instructions.Though I dread putting stuff together I was even more worried when I realised the instructions didn't fully cover the assembly. ie, the marbles in the filter (there to stop the filter floating), no suggestions you have to remove the teats to the two valves on the controller and how to use the Tee valve - I had to look at the advert in Am,azon to work out where it went though I still have no idea what it does.Ok I struggled to get the kit together and it too 90 minutes.Once you get the idea of the irrigation hose, it was straight forward.I like it, but please add full instructions.Quality is good, accessories are all you need, and I think its value for money saving plants in this drought and no electricity costs. And compatibility is good as accessories are cheap and easy to get through Amazon.

Best buy for my greenhouse, as i was away for couple of days during heat wave and it does the job.The hose the dripper the solar , and the timer all was good quality and installation was very easy but make sure you plan on paper in advance before cutting hoses to small peaces.I connected to water butt.I wish it had more dripper included.Look at my photo.(blue dripper are for this product)

Worked great for my weekends away during this heat, unfortunately don't have a water butt so I've been using a bucket but it's enough to save the plants until I get back.For all of the reviews saying about how difficult it is to connect them I recommend you wet the fitting and twist it back and forth when inserting, I haven't found any of it difficult to install so far and I've had no issues yet.

Very impressed, had my doubtsIm using this to water a long flower bed at the back of my garden, i had my doubts this would have enough power for the distance to the flower bed, and the fact the water source is a pond about 1m lower than the controller/pumpUsed about 6m of additional hose in total so around 18m to the furthest peg, plus 3m from the controller to the pondVery impressed that it is handling this brilliantly, same drip rate from the last peg as the firstWould have liked some more options on scheduling, every 12hrs is the most frequently you can set it, would have Like to do it more often, maybe its enough, not sure yet but more options would have been good

Ho acquistato questo kit per irrigare le piante che ho sul balcone senza dover tutti i giorni preoccuparmi di farlo manualmente, anche perchè spesso me ne dimentico o sono fuori casa. Con questo sistema scompare il problema perchè ci pensa lui a mantenerle in vita in modo automatico e totalmente autonomo anche a livello di energia elettrica, basta ricordarsi di riempire il recipiente per l'acqua che abbiamo scelto.Nella confezione troviamo il dispositivo con pompa integrata e batteria interna, un pannello solare per ricaricarlo, una coppia di sensori per rilevare il livello di acqua nel recipiente, un tubo dal quale tagliare i pezzi della lunghezza necessaria per raccordare i vari irrigatori, gli irrigatori a goccia e i vari accessori fra cui filtro di sicurezza, raccordi, viti di fissaggio e supporti vari. Tutti i connettori elettrici sono isolati con guarnizione e vite di sicurezza, per l'installazione direttamente all'aperto.La pompa ha sul dorso due tasti e dei led per programmare il funzionamento, che è molto semplice: un tasto accende e spegne il dispositivo, l'altro permette di selezionare gli intervalli di azionamento della pompa, ovvero per quanto rimarà accesa e in quali intervalli. Non si può regolare manualmente come altri sistemi smart, ma comunque dispone di 4 intervalli di tempo, ognuno con 3 durate differenti. Si parte dai 5 minuti ogni 12 ore per arrivare a 30 minuti ogni 72 ore. In sostanza selezionando 12/24 significa che ogni 24 ore la pompa si azionerà e farà andare per 15 minuti l'acqua nei vari irrigatori. In base alle esigenze delle piante si può selezionare il programma più indicato e tutto avverrà in automatico.Il pannello solare invece viene fornito con più staffe di installazione, per fissarlo a muro o piantato nel terreno, con un cavo lungo 5 metri per poterlo posizionare dove possa esser raggiunto dal sole per più tempo possibile, così da massimizzare la ricarica della batteria (la quale ovviamente si consumerà più o meno a seconda del programma impostato).Il tutto va poi installato disponendo un recipiente di acqua (questo può essere un secchio così come un contenitore più grande, è indifferente) ed inserendovi il filtro di pescaggio e le due sonde che ci avviseranno (con led e sonoramente) quando il livello è troppo basso, spegnendo anche per sicurezza la pompa, così da non rovinarla per giri a vuoto. Dall'altro capo di quest'ultima invece vanno collegati gli irrigatori in serie, del numero che ci serve (è modulare, si possono collegare ed aggiungere a necessità fino ai 15 presenti), piantati nei vasi così che le gocce fuoriescano a livello radicale, evitando sprechi (esempio d'estate, se si bagna sulla superficie del terreno, l'evaporazione può limitare di molto l'efficienza).Nel kit è quindi presente tutto il necessario tranne il recipiente, che va scelto anche rapportato al consumo del sistema, per permettergli un'autonomia di qualche giorno così da non dover rabboccare troppo frequentemente (e renderne parzialmente vana l'utilità). C'è una tabella che può aiutarci a calcolare il consumo di acqua in base al programma selezionato.Il sistema è consigliato appunto per vasi o piccole aiuole, o addirittura a piccoli orti da balcone per spezie (non per coltivazioni di ampia superficie ovviamente), così da non pensare tutti i giorni ad irrigarli manualmente o addirittura permetterne la sopravvivenza nel caso di brevi vacanze. Basta veramente installare il tutto correttamente e riempire il recipiente dell'acqua e via ogni pensiero!Qui su amazon il prezzo è molto buono per un prodotto di questo genere, sempre con il vantaggio della spedizione rapida e assistenza del sito!

Este kit de riego solar por goteo ha sido una compra fantástica y justo lo que necesitaba. Lo compré pensando en esos días en los que tengo que estar fuera de casa y me preocupaba que las plantas se quedaran sin agua. Después de probarlo, puedo decir que ha cumplido perfectamente con su función y ahora puedo marcharme con mucha más tranquilidad.La instalación es bastante sencilla y viene con todo lo necesario para montar el sistema de riego sin complicaciones. Los 15 goteros permiten repartir el agua entre varias macetas o jardineras, y es muy fácil ajustar la distribución según las necesidades de cada planta.Lo que más me ha gustado es que funciona con energía solar, por lo que no necesita estar conectado a la corriente eléctrica. Esto permite colocarlo prácticamente en cualquier lugar, ya sea en el jardín, la terraza, el balcón o incluso en un pequeño invernadero. Además, al aprovechar la energía del sol, también supone un ahorro de electricidad y resulta una opción mucho más ecológica.El temporizador automático es otro de sus puntos fuertes. Puedes programar el riego y olvidarte por completo, sabiendo que las plantas recibirán agua de forma regular mientras estás fuera.
