Running away from her bonds to protect them. Being send to college and being monitored by North Draven. They all hate her for running away 5 years ago. But little by little her wall of shutting them out crumbles and then the Resistance attacks the school and steals her best friend Sage and she gives herself up to safe her. And then everyone finds out the secret she has been hiding. This book was amazing! I read it within 1 day because I couldn’t stop!! Definitely recommend it!

reverse harem done well
TAKE NOTE: this is a reverse harem paranormal romance with some dark subject matters so check the trigger warningi started this book on a complete whim (mood reader here!) and flew through it in a few hours. i just couldn’t stop reading. it was addictive and i couldn’t wait to see what would happen next.the writing style was pretty simple but i liked it. i don’t read a lot of RH but this one is done well so far. i love the main character, oli, she’s not perfect, but she’s trying her best to do the right thing.i loved the pretty simple worldbuilding. i came here for the romance so i didn’t want to spend hours trying to understand what was going on. but the plot was interesting and i like that’s it’s not just a RH novel, but also a PNR.there’s one thing that annoyed me in this book and it was how some of the guys treated oli. while i understand they were hurt by her behavior and are angry, some of them were just cruel (*sideye* the draven brothers). while i love an enemies to lovers romance, this felt more like just being plain abusive. i was really uncomfortable during the scene towards the end with oli and nox, and i honestly don’t know how the author is gonna turn this around to make me love him.BUT let’s talk about my two favorite guys: gryphon and atlas. i loved their scenes with oli and i’m already in love with them. gryphon started out as broody and silently angry, but he turned out to be so caring and thoughtful. atlas was a sweetheart from the beginning and his flirting was top notch. as for gabe, i have lukewarm feelings towards him. he feels a bit like the nice guy who’s actually not that nice and has a lot of internalized toxic masculinity, but i warmed up to him more in the end.anyway, i can’t wait to read the next one and see where the story goes!

Absolutely in love!
I read this book in one sitting for the first time ever. The characters are just so well written and the sizzling banter is just everything. It has a strong fmc and the prospect of a FMMMMM relationship growing. This book is just the beginning of an epic story and I can’t wait to read the next one in the series! This book/series is intended for 18+ readers because of graphic scenes including sexual encounters, physical and mental abuse and the reverse harem trope.I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a bit of fantasy and a whole lot of slow burn building including 5 different love interest!

DarkBlue's Review
When I started reading this book, there were a lot of things that repeated themselves. It was a bit annoying, Yet I kept reading through the story because I was intrigued. When the book progressed, the frequency of certain sentences stopped after a while. So that was a good thing. However, I am glad that I kept reading it because this book was such a fun book to read (Also, How stunning is the cover of this book??).Oleander (Oli) was a decent character. She is not stupid. Even though she dropped out of school and missed a lot of curriculum. But she studies hard and she works hard for her muscles and condition and everything else. She feels like a normal girl and I really like her as a character. Because she is strong, smart and she doesn't give up easily. Her best friend is Sage. I really feel sorry for her. However, she actually grew a little bit as a character and it was so fun to read how she grew to the better of her own.All the other characters (Mainly the bonds). I have a love-hate relationship with. This book contains a bully-romance and it's sad that they don't listen or try to understand why Oli did what she did... but I still like the story. Because there are small glimpses of why the bonds hate her so much and eventually, it will all make sense. The story takes place in this time and it has little world-building. You get a college with dorms and classes and a special place. And you get luxurious mansions. That's about it for world-building... There is no map included, you need to make up your own place with your fantasy. For a bully-romance, I actually enjoyed this book. Some parts were hard and cringy. Yet, I read through them because it got better. The story got me intrigued and I am very curious for the complete story and why exactly everybody is hating on Oleander. But also because the characters are unique and I want to discover their story.
