Outstanding Compression and Waterproof Protection!
I recently used the Sea to Summit eVac Compression Dry Bag on a backpacking trip, and it has quickly become one of my favorite pieces of gear. This compression sack is an exceptional blend of functionality and durability, making it perfect for keeping my gear organized and protected. The waterproof feature is a game-changer. The bag kept my entire Zinbevy sleep system completely dry despite some unexpected rain and damp conditions. The quality of the material is evident; it feels sturdy and well-made, and the roll-top closure ensures a watertight seal. The compression aspect is equally impressive. I was amazed at how efficiently this bag compressed my sleep system, saving valuable space in my backpack. It allowed me to pack everything down neatly and fit comfortably within my pack, which is crucial for long hikes. The design of the eVac Compression Dry Bag is user-friendly. The compression straps are easy to adjust, and the bag’s lightweight construction doesn’t add unnecessary bulk. Additionally, the bag’s sleek design and color options add a nice touch to its practicality. In summary, the Sea to Summit eVac Compression Dry Bag is a top-tier product that delivers on its promises. It effectively compressed and waterproofed my entire Zinbevy sleep system, proving itself to be a reliable and essential piece of gear for any backpacker. Highly recommended for those seeking excellent compression and protection for their gear!

I have several of these
These are really good compression sacks. Very well made, waterproof, and the venting system prevents wasting pack space on trapped air. I have three of them in various sizes: 35 LITER: I use this monster for a Therm-a-Rest Saros 0f (long). The Saros is a very large, roomy sleeping bag by design, even in the regular size. It's also a full synthetic, making it even more bulky. The long is both longer and wider than the regular and it fits well. A down bag, especially if it's high fill power down will probably not need a compression sack this large. 8 LITER: I use this primarily for a Rab Ascent 500 (wide). This is a 650fp down bag with a 34f comfort rating. It does fit, but it's tight. Should fit a regular easily. Also fits a Sierra Designs Get Down 20 (regular), which is 550fp down. So, this should be good to go for any traditionally designed down bag in this temp and fill power range. It works for a Sierra Designs Nitro 35 quilt, too, and that's 800fp. 5 LITER: This one is good for my 50f comfort rated synthetic rectangular summer bag. It fills it up, but I can still roll down the top and get some decent compression out of it. If it works for that you can bet it's going to work for all bags in this temp range regardless of shape and fill material. Unless it's super bulky cotton, of course. It's also good for packing thermal layers, extra socks and underwear, a puffy jacket, etc. One thing you should know is that these are not cylindrical in shape, but rectangular. Once you pull them down they do take on a somewhat cylindrical shape the more you pull down the straps, but if you don't jam them full and compress them as tight as humanly possibly they'll stay relatively flattish which I think uses pack space more efficiently. Even the 35 liter with the humongous Saros bag, I can lay my body on it to expel the air and pull it down just enough that it fits in a 75 liter Gregory Baltoro with plenty of room left over for multiday winter backpacking. Tent on the outside, of course, and, yes, I backpack the crap out of that nearly 6lb sleeping bag. I highly recommend these and if you don't need one right away, just keep your eyes on them for a sale because they're not cheap. I got all three for 50% off and they were definitely worth it. DO NOT compress them by pulling down the straps unless you just want to tear the straps off. Compress them with your body weight and then cinch down the straps.

Great Product, but consider the Ultralight Variant
This performed its role adequately. My sleeping bag and puffy were compressed down to a very small package. I did not test the waterproofing. I previously had one of the earlier variations of this bag in a 10L size (and grey color), but that was significantly lighter. I think it roughly corresponds to "Evac Ultralight Compression Dry Bag". One notable difference was this item has 4 compression straps, and the Ultralight only has 3. Just 3 straps is sufficient, but 4 makes it a little bit easier to use. I think I accidentally ended up with this lightweight version just trying to differentiate the colors of my compression sacks. If I lost this item and needed to replace it, I would use the Ultralight version. I would recommend that version for anyone intending to carry it inside a backpack. The added durability likely makes this a slightly better choice for blended use, where this would also be used for something like kayak/car camping or carried strapped to the outside of a pack.

Perfect Camping Compression Sack!
20L is perfect size for clothes and 35L is perfect size for a 0 degree cold weather large single sleeping bag. Very well made compared to any other compression sack and waterproof!

Good Design but One Flaw
I just received this bag... the design and quality are good... the vented bottom does help get the best compression out of my sleeping bag. The main flaw I can see is that the black, top hood is too small. It doesn't completely cover the top of the bag and, because of this tends to pull off of the top while you are adjusting the compression straps and has to be re-adjusted, sometimes multiple times.

great bag
This is a great dry bag. It kept my sleeping bag completely dry during a three-week whitewater kayaking trip in the Northwest Territories.

Nice packable drybag
Purchase this bag for a kayak trip, the bag worked well for my extra clothes, towel and random stuff. It survived portaging, being shoved in a kayak countless times and hammock camping for 4 days/nights. I'd definitely buy another if the need ever comes.

Keeps it dry.
Used on a week long canoe trip in the BWAC and this thing keeps everything in it dry. Swamped the canoe a couple of times and never worried about my electronics or clothes. Dry as a bone.

This is an amazing compression sack. I bought it purely as it is waterproof and the one that came with my sleeping bag wasn't. This snugs down even smaller so fantastic!

Some folk don't like stuff or compression sacks for hiking, but my partner and I bought these as an experiment and we found them highly valuable. Sleeping bag, liner and sleep wear went in, packed down well in the bottom of the bag with few gaps, and ensured everything was nice and dry when setting up camp. Whilst we could have used a bag liner, this had the added benefit of keeping everything separate from damp or smelly gear, made setting up the tent easy in the rain because we could keep bags outside whilst moving all the sleep gear in nice and dry, and also served as an excellent cuddle pillow each when stuffed with our camp clothes (we're both side sleepers). Highly recommended.
