It is a high-quality tripod, well thought out and multifunctional. You don't even need an adapter for your smartphone. I have purchased many tripods over the years, but this tripod takes up the least space and stretches out very tall. Job well done.

Yea, it's so close to 5-star it feels funny not giving it the full five.... But my clip broke. I hate that. You know those chintzy cheap garbage selfie-sticks with phone clips that break after you used it only a half-dozen times or so ...??This product itself is well designed and it doesn't tip over easy etc.... But it also isn't a flimsy forgettable generic for twelve bucks. So you would expect it would come with a stronger clip, you know that actual thing that clamps over ur device ? I'm not an abusive or careless person, but I am a human being, and nobody's perfect, and a product should be able to tolerate a little variance in how delicately it is handled from one person to a different person. This product is not very forgiving that way. You must be very gentle with it, and open & close the clip "just-so" very VERY slowwwwwly, or it will CRACK on you....or just SNAP IN TWO altogether....Again, repeating, it's hard to criticize or speak negatively about this product since, other than the clip issue, it really holds its end of the deal (if you know what I mean)... It's a handsome device, sturdy, without weighing a ton.Just be careful with that clip !!!!!!!!!

Bought a total of 3 of these. I had purchased one and I thought they were very sleek and portable. Unfortunatel,y the main pivot parts are plastic and as all other plastics, it broke. I would have rather paid more for a more solid material, otherwise, the functionality and convenience of the mechanism of this tripod is great.
