Hardcastle EZ Curlbar Weight Bar

I am very impressed by the quality of this bar. It has the perfect angles for biceps curls and more. The spin-locks seem to be a problem for some people but there is a trick to getting them to lock tight. If you search online you can find how to do a little twist of the weight plates (on the inside of the bar) anticlockwise. Hope this helps.

I found a straight bar was causing too much 'pull' on one of my wrists after it had been damaged, and so I purchase the EZ bar to see if that would help. The slight angle on a wider and narrow grip does help with upright rows and deadlifts using heavier weights, and it also helps slightly with bicep curls; however, for benching and squats it has to be the straight bar which is wider. As with other comments, the spinlocks do come a little loose but this isn't a problem. They should ideally have two rubber 'O' rings on each end: one in the lock itself (which they have), and one to go between the weight and the bar's collar. I somehow ordered two of these which arrived quickly and well packaged. I have no use for the other, and the seller was very helpful with a quick response and offered a heavy discount on the second bar and it's p&p but unfortunately I have no use for two. Overall, happy with a good bit of kit and would purchase from the seller again with no problems.

Decent and worth the money in my opinion

Ez bars are awesome to add to your routines, I find them better than normal barbells myself. This specifically I'd recommend buying. The price is affordable and the quality is amazing. However, the clips do unscrew when you are mid curl sometimes so I would recommend something else on too if the bar itself. But if that doesn't bother you then it's perfect

Feels nice on the hands the knurling gives you a good grip. Weight of the bar about 4kg also the spin locks go on quite nicely more so than the others i had in the past. Would recommend also for new potential buyers this fits standard plates which the hole is smaller than Olympic plates just keep that in mind if you have Olympic plates. You can still use Olympic plates it just bounces a bit depending on how tight the spin locks are on.

Quality and well worth buying Great addition

The collars provided are not adequate to keep the weights in place. The weights rotate when in use and the collars work lose causing instability. I solved this with the use of additional rubber washers placed on the inside to provide some friction (seems like a design over sight). Now giving more satisfaction.

Does exactly what it's designed to do. Good weight on it's own if your just starting out and want to practise your form before adding weights.

Vous pourrez en conséquence travaillée vos ensembles différentes parties du corps avec cette barre.
