Amazing! Night and day difference
We had just a basic check valve when we moved in and the thing closed like a sledgehammer. Seriously it was like showering in a thunderstorm. We bought one of these silent valves, installed it, and it lives up to it's name. Not so much as a tapping sound. Took a little more time to install than expected as this was a bit taller than the other so some minor plumbing was required. I was a bit skeptical at purchase but now I highly recommend.

No more thump!
I thought that one day the water pressure returning back to the check valve was going to break apart the seal and I was going to have a terrible mess to clean up.. if you can image this is hooked to my toilet on my up-flush.I think this is the best check valve that money can buy!Great product!

Install requires pvc primer and cement but easy install and great product.
