Great for Begginers & Saves Money!
The media could not be loaded. Great for beginners. This is my first time doing my own nails. I got tired of paying erroneous amounts of money just to get a simple full set. I did watch a few videos on Pinterest/IG/Youtube to get an idea of how to properly put the nails on. Even though I made one mistake (didn’t cure the glue after applying it on my natural nails) my nails haven’t budged. I’m rough on my nails so these nails are pretty durable and I have yet to have one lift or pop off. I do recommend prepping your nails by cleaning them and taking as much dead skin/cuticles off as possible so that the nails will adhere properly. I would also recommend to buy a dehydrator and primer (I bought some reasonably priced ones here on Amazon). The UV light that came with this set works well, I like that you don’t need to press a button since you have to hold the nail under the light. You get a good value for your money as it comes with most everything you need to do a full set of gel x. Quality and length of the tips are great and they look great on. I would highly recommend this set of you are a beginner or just want to start saving money by doing your own nails at home…you can do it!*The pictures and videos are after 3 weeks of having the nails on.*I did use gel polish also from Bettles that I purchased here on Amazon. All in all I probably spent less than $50 to purchase all the supplies to do my own nails. Ladies we all know that a full set alone can start at $60 or more, this is totally worth a try if you’re trying to save money and also be able to control how you want your nails to look! Try it out!

Good nails
I use these everyday day. Good quality. Not super long which I prefer. Good value for the money. They don’t pop off unless you are being crazy with them

Very good
I love that it is in gel format, because it does not drip, it is easy to apply and gives me time to accommodate the nail well before healing. Once I put it under the UV lamp, it is firm and durable. My nails last more than 2 weeks intact

Great kit, nail sizes could be improved
This little set has almost everything you need to start doing your own gel nails! You’ll want to get a bigger curing lamp because the little lamp it comes with is just for flash curing (I already had one stored away from years ago that my sister gave me after she got bored of doing gel nails, but it’s smaller and only fits 4 fingers so I still have to do my thumbs separately which takes so much extra time. Would be great for travel but I do plan to order a big wireless one. Anyway get a bigger lamp. Beetles has a couple options on here and there are tons of other options). I’d also recommend getting an electric file, 100% acetone, rubbing alcohol and lint free pads or alcohol prep pads, a good manual file and buffer block, and the prep products you will need to complete your manicure. Beetles sells a 4 bottle set with dehydrator, primer, base coat, and top coat which I also bought. Also get some colored polish of your choice, and consider getting some little nail art brushes to at least help with cleaning up your cuticles and stuff.I don’t really do nail art but it’s good to have the brushes to clean up cuticle flooding or any gel that gets on the skin, as you don’t want to cure it on your skin! You can also use CLEAN small flat eye makeup brushes for this in a pinch, which is what I did initially. My only gripe with this set is the nail sizes. The nail’s themselves are very good quality, but the sizing didn’t really work easily for me. The biggest ones were too small for my thumbs so I had to glue them up higher so they’d hit both sidewalls which left me with a lot to trim off. There also isn’t a good size for my middle fingers; I either have to use a bigger one and try to file it down and it still looks bulky, or use the one that fits closer but that I have to glue higher up on my nail like the thumb and then trim. The second option gave me better, less wide/bulky nails and was less work but I did still have a ton of length to trim off. Otherwise the sizes were mostly okay but I will definitely be ordering some other nail tips. I don’t have particularly large hands or nails either. But these will probably be fine for a lot of people especially if their nails are on the small side.I got almond extra short and they’re still pretty long for my taste, the ones pictured have been trimmed and filed down considerably, so just be aware of that too. They are nowhere near as short as they look in the photos (I guess unless you have super long nail beds but mine are pretty average and not particularly short) so I suspect the other nails are also longer than they look in the product photos. Be prepared to cut and/or file. The almond is also quite pointy and sharp basically like a stiletto and will need to be rounded off which I have also done. However I’ve already been able to do a couple of sets with these while I get used to using gel and this kit has been great. I also used beetles colors (got a set of six mini bottles for under $10) and have left a review there as well and beetles prep dehydrator, primer, and base/top coats as well. All solid products!

Lasting tips
Excellent glue. They have kept these toenail tips on for a week so far and no lifting or popping off. Doesn't burn when cured. New go to glue. Easy to apply, takes a little bit to cure under uv but worth it so you have time to adjust if need be.

Broke off immediately
Application was fairly easy. Had no issues. Slept in them and showered. No issues. But the moment I got to work and started working I lost 2 within the first 3 hours. I made sure it had no bubbles and adequate glue. I’m unsure of what the problem is. I wonder if I should add another layer of glue on top of the nail before I paint it but I feel like I’m using a lot of glue. Also when you’re curing it under the light it burns so fair warning. Felt like my hand was on fire

indestructible
i'm a barista, i handle and wash steel containers for hours during a usual closing shift, with gel polish these have lasted actually 15 days so far, i had to wrench one off that got scratched and i wanted to replace with acetone and a small knife lol, i've had issues with fake nails for years, years and years, i was just using cyanoacrylate 'superglue' and it would break off if i looked at them, i admittedly had a half awake moment where i used one to split packing tape while breaking down a box and not only did it not break i did not even notice until i tried to open the box cutter for the next box lmao

Omg where has this been all my manicure 💅 life?
Like Holy Water is to Catholics, this glue is to the Beetles full coverage almond nail tips! And that gem 💎 of a nail lamp I ordered too!Omg once you finally get the consistency down with the malleable glue you will never go back to using super glue on your nails 💅!My nails are growing and instead of being sucked dry of any of their natural moisture- they’re firm and have firm growth nail beds!No they don’t have any moisture and no fungus! It doesn’t chip! But because it’s malleable you’ll need cuticle trimmers for cutting and cleaning up.
