Neotech Saxophone Sling 'Classic Strap' Swivel Hook Black X Long

Saxophones are hefty things by the general standards of woodwind instruments, and a neck strap is undoubtedly better than a right thumb as a support. It is, however, a long way short of ideal. And until someone actually invents the skyhook, a shoulder harness will be as near to ideal as we will get.This particular harness is easy to adjust and comfortable to wear. The plastic hook is big and butch enough to support the instrument without being so hard as to damage the ring, and its spring-loaded latch makes sure the two don't part company. Oh, and one of my female fellow musicians has noted that this particular design of harness is a girl-friendly one: nothing important gets squashed!Delivery was stated as 3 to 5 working days, but an order placed on a Sunday evening arrived on the afternoon of the following Wednesday - which is highly commendable.Overall, highly recommended.

I bought this for my 10 year old son as the neck type sax strap was giving him pain in the shoulders and neck. This is fantastic. It's very adjustable, the straps are comfortably padded (but not overly padded so its not too bulky) and really does spread the weight much more evenly. His posture when playing is better as a result. He loves it.

My slim, 10 year old granddaughter was having problems supporting the saxophone just using a neck strap, so her older saxophone-playing sister suggested buying this, which seems to have been exactly what was needed. From what I have been told, it is perfect as a solution, and I have heard no more - a good sign. I had it delivered directly to my daughter's home, and it arrived very quickly.

I bought the Junior version of the Neotech strap. It looks very well made and the service was great. Unfortunately the strap was too short for my 10 year old daughter. The seller has kindly offered to replace the strap with an adult one.

This a a comfy strap but I'm only small size 8 5 ft 3 ins and it's too big for me. I have it adjusted to its smallest and the sax still hangs too low down for comfort

I brought this after reading the other review, were they had brought this strap for their 10 year old son. I had a similar problem as my 9 year old was complaining of neck ache off the neck strap and he generally looked very uncomfortable while playing. This strap is perfect and after only one use we could see a difference in his posture and he played for a lot longer. He said it made a huge difference and loved it! You would not regret buying this strap - a definite must have!

This is nice and comfortable, it is a bit too big at the moment for my 9 year old son. We have it on the tightest settings but it's still too roomy, but he likes it and it's a big improvement on a neck strap

I replaced a neotech soft neck strap I had been using for years with a classic. The classic is comfortable however I did not realize the soft had so much elestic to it ( apperently I like that). We will see how I like it ina few weeks.

Read some of the reviews on this product and decided to give it a chance. I use to own a similar neck strap about 10 years ago. Super comfortable for gigs and marching until a class mate stole it. Just got a new sax and bought the extra long swivel hook strap to go with it. Exactly like I remember it: very comfortable and durable.

It hurts my son’s neck. After playing his saxophone for 30’, his neck is red with deep marks. It goes away of course but it may not be the most comfortable strap.

Wonderful. It is very easy to adjust and is much more comfortable than the stock strap that came with my Akai EWI4000S.

It's okay if you plan on performing standing rigid. At max extension I have no room to really move with this. Go for the Hook model, you get another 5 inches of extension....

My son loves this strap for his Alto sax. Said it is very comfortable.

it is what it said it was but I did not realize it only had a hook and nothing to hook to on the Clarinet. I thought it would come with something that goes on the thumbrest to clip onto. This was not the venders fault, it was my fault. The ad said it all I just did not realize it.

Im a pro sax player and I love and use this neck strap. It looks great and my 1927 Conn feels lighter.

i use this to support my akai ewi usb, the collar is a bit wide and warms the neck but the clip is secure and well build for my need.

Love these sax neck straps. Unfortunately my order came with an empty box.

Great for RC Flyers. So much better than a 1" wide nylon strap that slices into your neck. This strap is the ultimate in comfort.

Great workmanship & quality. Could use a little less padding & bulkiness to make it more compact. Looks large on my middle school-er.
