A great little back up fan!
I was somewhat taken aback when I unboxed this little fan. However, I soon discovered its usefulness and power in the heat and humidity of summer โ25. Does it cool the entirety of my little home? Of course not. Does it move the air around in the room itโs in? Saving me and the electric bill? Absolutely! And does it quietly.

Great.
Bought two. One for smaller kitchen window to cool down while cooking. Works great . Two speeds. The other for grandson's play room . Kept up so no little fingers can possibly get hurt. Perfect size for smaller area. Worth the money. Noise is minimal. Has great power too. Definitely would buy again.

Great product!
I got this little fan for our Great Pyrenees, who loves to lay in front of a fan & for some of our smaller windows that won't hold a regular box fan. Our regular box fan is far too loud too. There was a great sale on this, so I got one & absolutely love it! It is very quiet, even on high. It pushes plenty of air through too & cools well. He perches in front of it as soon as I turn it on, so pet approved too! I'll be getting another one of these when they go on sale.

Almost too quiet. RETURNED for a wierd noise that came up.
Fan is almost too quiet but if i put it against a wall its louder. I like it near my bed for noise. UPDATE: One week or so later I returned it. It started making a tapping noise, but only after its been on for 20 minutes or longer ish. It wakes me up at night now instead of helping me sleep. I turn it on the next day, at first its fine. The wierd noise eventually happens again. Its just a cheap fan not being perfect.

Decent fan for a small window
Needed a small fan for exhaust but our exterior window is smaller than most of the reversible flow fans I could find. This is a pretty simple design and fits nice and flush so I can close the window on it and keep it in the frame to blow fresh air in or blow indoor air out if I just flip it around. Not quite as big as I was expecting, but works great.

Have these 5-star reviews never used a fan before???
Terrible fan. Bad design. Incredibly weak, NOT powerful like they claim. The blades have a low pitch. There is a HUGE amount of backflow and turbulence generated, due to the vast amount of empty space within the box frame, slotted instead of solid sides, and I maybe other reasons but those for sure. These design flaws are largely visible in the photos, I should have recognized them. Weirdly, it's 3-speed, not 2-speed as described. And it's the only fav I've ever encountered in my entire 44 years of life where instead of the knob going "off | hi | med | low", which has engineering reasons that make sense, this one goes "off | low | med | hi". Neither of these things about the knob are bad, but it's weird they messed up & said it had fewer speeds, & speed order is highly unusually. By direct comparison, I also bought an Impress 9-Inch 3-Speed Box Fan, IM-719BX. It's the same size, but designed well. There is a night-and-day difference. I don't have an anemometer, but I'm not exaggerating when I say that the Impress 9" box fan's wind feels an order of magnitude stronger, it's got a 45 Watt motor (vs the 35 Watt motor of the Beyond Breeze), the cord is easily a foot longer, it has built-in cowling instead of wide open space, it feels & looks much sturdier, and... it's $1 cheaper than the Beyond Breeze. I can feel so much backflow coming out of this thing, they should have called it the "Behind Breeze". I like the Impress so much I bought another one. I'm returning the Behind Breeze. The ONLY possible reason I can see to buy this is if you value quietness over effectiveness.

It is actually a 3 speed fan now
The fan is a little different now in 8/2025. It is now 3 speeds, not 2. It is a nice size and works well.
