I bought it in Oct, it is March and I still have lots left. It is amazing. Sinks into the skin, and it ACTUALLY helps with the stubborn sun spots I had on top of my cheeks. They are all gone or very faint now. It is mind blowing to me, nothing else did this for me. Fyi, I have the type of Mediterranean skin that tans easily but also hyperpigments easily :( This product did what retinols, and acids, and vit C, and tranexamic acid and all other hyped ingredients could not do. I have wanted to buy more, but it is never in stock. It makes me so sad! BTW, I owe my purchase to Odile Monod on YouTube (monodist). She didn't recommend this product exactly, but introduced me to Ginseng and to this brand. Truely my skin looks like I am 20 now and I am 44! I do think that it helps with elasticity and inflammation too. Just so sad it is out of stock. BTW, I tried it on the left half of my face first for a few weeks, so I am sure that this is what made the spots fade.

I did not really notice a strong scent, but I've used a lot of other ginseng products in the past so I may be nose blind to the smell at this point. I use this essence as my first step after washing my face, it sinks in quickly and the formula is pleasant to the touch.The bottle is beautiful and elegant. You do get quite a lot of product, so I think the price is fair for how much you receive.

Very light, watery gel texture retains hydration on the skin without stickiness or greasiness. I keep this product in my bathroom and use it right after washing my face. My skin feels softer and absorbs other skincare products better when I use it. Generally, the skin loses most of its moisture within 3 seconds after washing the face, but this product prevents moisture loss. However, the strong Ginseng scent might be an issue for some people; although I like it because it feels more effective.

I've been working to even out the texture on my skin and this product has made a huge difference. Given that I have very sensitive skin, I don't tolerate strong chemical exfoliants well, but I had no issues with this product. I use this as a toner and it has helped me bring some radiance back into my skin without damaging my skin barrier.I've been struggling with dry skin the past few months and this adds some moisture back into my skin before my daily skincare/makeup routine. Overall, great product and good way to start your K-Beauty journey.

This lotion is quite nice if one is able to get behind the unmistakable ginseng scent. The product is made in Korea from a nice brand, is a hefty and high quality looking glass bottle, and the lotion makes skin nice, moisturized, and appears more brightened. At the time of the review, there's also a pretty big 64% off discount, which I think the sale makes it a steal for its quality.

This review is from a 57 yr old woman whose primary skincare focuses are hydration and collagen/elastin promotion/production. Since 2020, I have been a user of K-Beauty products for their unique/Eastern ingredients and affordability. This is my second product from Sooryehan - the first were the Hyaluronic face pads - which I love. I chose this because of the Ginseng - which my face absolutely loves!This is a First Essence, which I thought meant it was the first product to be applied to the face after cleansing. But that is not so. The bottle says use after toner - so I am thinking this is more of a light serum than a true First Treatment. But anyway, one pump is all it takes. The essence is fresh and just feels clean/cool on my face - which instantly smooths and looks hydrated. It has a light scent - nothing overpowering. So far I have used in both AM and PM routines - mainly because I like how it feels on my face.The bottle is beautiful and nice “expensive” touch. It is a bit on the pricey side for KBeauty, but Sooryehan is offering a discount and a coupon - which makes it more in line with most Kbeauty I purchase.This First Essence exceeded my expectations which is why I am giving it 5 stars. I recommend!
