Had an issue with cratering on my coffee pucks. After research, I decided to add a slim screen on the puck and it worked great, no more cratering! Washing it has also been, so far, fairly easy.

The resident coffee experts ( my 21 and 29 year old babies) say it's great, myself I haven't a clue but they say it makes all the difference to bean to cup coffee maker..happy babies happy mum

I changed espresso machines so this is my second one of these. I does it's job very well. I don't like the feeling of the other style of puck screen so this was perfect for me! I have been pulling great espresso shots using this screen and find that it cleans quite well as well. I would say that you do have to be careful while handling it as it can bend quite easily.
