Excellent flavor, cooks perfectly, and many less contaminants and pesticides than non-organic. Just remember to rinse it first to remove the starchy dust.

Basmati rice is a long-grain rice that don’t really stick together. It can be used in many dishes especially rice pilaf or even fried rice. These grains of rice tend to be long and skinny as opposed to short-grain rice that are chubby, round and starchy causing them to stick together. This basmati rice is especially flavorful, fresh, and aromatic. Very good. However, there is a very high premium for this rice that is nearly triple of other similar rice.

Very flavorful and wonderful aroma. This rice is from the Northern region of India which is important to me as that region as well as Pakistan have the lowest Arsenic levels. I actually bought this with no reviews, (which I never do) because they are one of the few sellers that state the rice is grown in the north of India. The packaging is also important to me. The outer bag is a strong plastic and the inner bag is a vacuum packed bag. The rice is very fresh with a very good exp. date.

This rice is scam they lied about the protein percentage like they said is 8.00g and not true when it came and opened it says 4g

I have purchased two packages of this rice for food storage and have vacuum sealed most of it in canning jars for future use. I have cooked up two batches and it comes out beautifully using a ratio of 1:1.5 rice to water. The taste and texture are very good. I will purchase this again in the future.

A product of India this 2 pound pouch of basmati rice is USDA certified organic. Basmati is a long grain rice and in addition to being aromatic and having a light nutty flavor it is stated to have a lower glycemic index when compared to other types of rice. I use it with a variety of recipes including curry and rice side dishes. Particular care was taken with this rice which is reflected in the vacuum seal inner bag and the re-sealable outer pouch for storage after opening the inner bag. The only ingredient is organic white basmati rice—nothing is added. To estimate shelf-life at the time of this review in March 2024 the Best By date is 13 months in the future but dates will vary. Excellent.
