cup holder

This is the second cup holder I’ve ordered, and it fills my specific purpose. I ordered a different kind of cup holder, which did not hold a large mug, had no bottom, and no slot for mug handle. Did some more searching on Amazon and found this cup holder. I hook it over a basket that I keep next to me on my couch. This cup holder has a slot that accommodates the mug handle, a solid bottom, and is large enough for an oversized mug. Since the handle/hook is metal, I was able to bend it over the top of the basket. This is an excellent cup holder.

This is definitely super helpful! Our car doesn’t have any cupholders, so it was a must, and I really like this one. I will say, my husband did superglue the pieces together because it was a little insecure - just if you happen to slam the door - but otherwise, it stays put and it even holds my 32oz hydro jug!

This little gadget make a big difference. I got this as a little gift for my husband who mentioned that on the bus he drives there is nowhere for him to put his bottle and it rolls around. He absolutely loves it, he put it over the armrest and keeps his water bottle there. Such a non expensive item but very useful!!! This is also a wider cup holder so it can fit also a bit bigger bottle than the standard cup. The installation is super easy, just bend the metal to the size you need

make sure your vehicle will accommodate such a product. I could not sue it on my doors because of the way the door id contoured....and there simply isn't any other way to use it in my vehicle. I missed the return window so I guess I will give it as a gift.

I really love this, It seems perfect for my needs but I can't be 100% sure unless it will hang on the car door, which it won't. See photo below. I have ordered this car cup twice and gotten the exact same thing twice. I was so hoping the first one was defective. Now I am not sure. I will be returning them both this coming week. So disappointed. The cup part itself is very sturdy and has a slot in the front so that handle in a large cup can slide right it. How perfect! But the compare my pic with the one on Amazon. THe "hook" part is only 1/4 inch long on the ones I received and I can't find a good substitution.

I got this to put a left handed cupholder in my car, the clamp is too weak and it rattled about too much. Needs a better bracket and some foam in the sides to keep cup or bottle in place.

I rarely write reviews of purchases I make, but after many years and products Ive tried this is the only one that solved my problem, and it does it very well. I've been commuting by train, an hour each way, for many years, and the train seats do not have cup holders, ledges or anywhere to place a beverage, like the hot coffee I take in my thermos every day. This holder's design, with it's bendable flat metal 'hook' is the only one that can you can bend ti fit over a wide fixed object, like the metal piece between seats in front of me, as seen in the photo. When I insert the 'hook' into the holder and hang it, it stays there reliably and allows me to get work done on my laptop without having to place my thermos on the floor of the train or on the seat next to me, where over the years I've had tip overs and spills- no fun when it happens on the seat you're sitting in,. Not only that, it's at the perfect reaching height, so on a crowed train where adjacent seats are all filled, you still have easy access to reach for your beverage without needing to hold it. Finally, because of the holder's shape, when I put it in my messenger bag it has the added bonus of keeping my thermos upright and separate from the rest of its contents (which includes my laptop), and because the hook is meant to be easily detached, it does not project awkwardly from the holder and cause it to fit poorly in the bag and take up unnecessary space.

We’ve all had those cheap plastic cup holders that lose their shape and fail while (not) holding a drink - this is NOT it! While it is plastic it is much stronger and comes in two pieces vs the whole thing being molded into shape. They also have more and thicker plastic around the drink portion of the device. That might limit your drink size if you like super large drinks but it means you don’t end up wearing your drink if you hit a pothole. I’m guessing a cup holder converter would solve this is you really need either a big gulp or a larger sports bottle. Note: I am not saying this is small, I have put large drinks from multiple stores in this with no issues around fit. The real magic of this is that because the top piece is metal you can shape it to most any car window. You just determine the width you need and bend the metal to fit your door panel width. It even comes already fitted with a soft substance on the metal so that it does not wear on the leather or vinyl of your door. It also has a neat little bend at the end that goes in the window slot to help it fit securely. I also like that if it were to break in the future due to age (many years of extreme weather cycles - sub zero and plastic) or large rambunctious dogs running into it, you could just drop a new cup on it and not have to mess with the window slot reinstall. Note: this has not yet been squirrel tested - 140lb dog attempts to place one large paw on the unit to get a better look at something outside the window. If this is a concern for you I recommend removing the cup portion from any unattended seats while “dog is your co-pilot”! I like it and it works for me in a way no other window cupholder ever has!
