Great value, great product
I bought these to test the Ph of skincare products, because my skin can get alllll angry if I'm not careful. These work almost instantly, it's a nice big test strip so easy to read, soyou're not squinting at the color chart, and they're a really good deal. I will probably not use even half of these before they expire, but I will buy them again when that happens.

Excellent product, highly recommend!
Bought these to test the ph of my fish tanks before adding triop eggs and they worked perfectly and were very easy to read! Triops are extremely sensitive to ph and they hatched within 24 hours so id say these are very accurate strips.

Reliable and easy to read
These strips are very straightforward. I love that they come in two separate packs so I can keep one in the kitchen and one in the garage. The paper is sturdy enough that it doesn't fall apart when wet, and the 1–14 range covers everything I need. Great for quick checks without needing a digital meter.

Harder to handle but easy to read
I meant to buy the plastic backed pH strips, not the water testing kit. But this did what I wanted. I am planning to use a chemical straightener on hair, specifically Linange Texturizer and Mizani Mild Relaxer. This treatment is alkaline and must be neutralized to a safe p( after the treatment. The strips did a good job of reading a clear pH of 12 for the relaxer, a diluted but still high pH when added to conditioner or oil, and that the neutralizing product has a pH of 6 and does not uniformly or drastically drop the pH as I was hoping it would unless the relaxer is completely diluted. Now that I know what the pH is doing, I can work more safely with the hair treatment. I had hoped to lower the pH from 12 to about 9 to make it milder, but now I know that this does not work with the products that I have. I now know that oil slows the hair straightening process substantially but it does not lower the pH (which makes sense), so now I know that the product is still highly caustic and I will treat it that way. The strips were easy to read. So, additionally, I am not impressed with how well the Linange was neutralized with the Mizani neutralizing conditioner. Perhaps they are the same? But, I plan to use the strips to finally answer the question of whether a different brand works. So, the strips worked out well. I tested the pH before, during, and after mixing and hair strand test experiments. It was fairly easy to determine the approximate pH. Definitely, I could tell a pH 6 from pH 9 from pH 12 - which is exactly what I was after. The tiny droppers were useless to me. Unlike plastic strips where you can grad the plastic part and just not touch the strip, with these paper ones I did need to tear off and prep the strips beforehand so that I would not ruin them before I use them. But, they did work out well. And it gave me the insights needed to work safely with hair treatment chemicals at home.

Easy, inexpensive; but accuracy is questionable
Easy to use. From left to right. I expected more color difference between Saliva & Chlorinated Tap water? Salt water, Dill pickle juice & Ice tea all look the same pH. Not sure if I did testing correctly. Additionally, center photo is Distilled water, far right photo is tap water that sat in open containers for 6 hours.

accurate as needed
I love this stuff!! I use it to check the pH of my syndet bars. It works amazing! I constantly check it with other products but is always spot on on its accuracy. The colors are easy to read and know what the actual pH value is. I will continue to purchase this product.

Doesn't work
They don't work. My tap water is usually 7-7.2 and the strip doesn't register it. It looks like wet post-it note paper. Had to go and use my general hydroponics pH drops.

not accurate enough for me
didn’t really work for what i needed. i was trying to test peps and the color change was super weak, hard to read at all. maybe ok for simple stuff like soap or water but not accurate enough if you need clear results. cheap and you get a lot, just not the best for me.
