Economics Sixth Edition

Fantastic for Economics A Level! It has helped me achieve A’s and A*’s in my mocks thus far. Therefore I would say this is definitely worth the money, although it is a hefty price, it does contain all the content for the full 2 years of the A Level course so you won’t need any other books combined with this for 2 years!

A very good economics textbook. Worth the money for sure, there is a LOT of content, and it's all very clearly explained! Would recommend getting a revision guide too, for more concise explanations, as this book is big, but it is very useful to refer to after class, and has questions so I can test my understanding, too!

Purchased as a gift. All arrived on time and as described. Good introduction to an interesting area of study.

Bought this under the impression it would be a new book. Arrived very much second hand.

Expensive but the best book for the course. Glad it's my daughter who has to wade through it.

NOPE NOPE NOPE & NOPE.Trust me if you are just starting to learn Economics I would NOT recommend this book, yes it's over priced which will convince you into thinking it's going to be high quality. Yes it also contains Year 2 content. Brooo, don't be deceived these were the exact same thoughts that convinced me into buying the book. The book is simply too complex and sometimes it is hard to identity specific points from the book simply because it has so many terms and over complication unnecessary information; you just want to pass an EXAM.I've found that CGP books gives me the best scope of learning Economics THEN after I've read the CGP book I come back to this book to consolidate what i've learnt. Even then it can still be hard to understand what they are saying.Pros: Lots of diagrams, Case Studies, Exam tips etcCons: 70% of the book is just complex to understand- I wouldn't recommend this book if you are on a strict budget and you know your income is a bit tight (which is 94.7% of students) get the CGP A level book and if you have spare money add this book as well.
